(A.N. just a small thing I saw from an otp scenario post on pinterest)

Bokuto [POV]

I grabbed the lowest branch of the tree and hauled myself up

"Akaashi Akaashi look" I called with a smile

"That's dangerous Bokuto" Akaashi responded looking up at me,

"I'm an owl" I exclaimed

"That you are Bokuto" he responded dully,

"Aren't I cool Akaashi?"

"Of course Bokuto but please get down from there before you get hurt"

"Ptff I won't get hurt I'm an owl this is my natural habitat" I laughed but just as I said that my foot slipped and I tumbled down the tree.

"Bokuto" Akaashi exclaimed leaning over me, everything hurt but nothing was broken "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine don't worry" I sat up slowly wincing

"You're bleeding" he pointed out his eyebrows furrowed with concern, I touched my forehead and pulled my hand back, it was covered in blood.  I was covered in scrapes, scratches and forming bruises.  Akaashi went into his house and got a first aid kit.  He knelt down in front of me.  He took a cotton ball and the disinfectant.  His hands were trembling violently he could barely put the disinfectant on the cotton ball.  I winced as he pressed it to my forehead

"Hey Akaashi," I started Akaashi didn't say anything but that just invited me to continue "I guess not all owls can fly" I laughed awkwardly hoping he would too, I wanted to lighten the mood a bit.  Akaashi leaned back covering his face with his arm, I was confused by the action but I saw tears fall onto the ground from behind his arm

"Whoa Akaashi are you crying what's wrong?" I exclaimed 

"Y-You're so s-stupid" He shouted 

"What?" I asked confused

"You c-could've broke your neck and died stupid" He punched me in the chest "I could've lost you"

"Akaashi I'm sorry I made your worry but I'm okay" I smiled softly cupping his cheek in my hand

"You're covered in scratches you are not okay" he pulled his arm away tears rolled down his cheeks landing softly in his lap

"Scratches are nothing they'll heal" I laughed "And how can I have you take care of me when you were a few words away from a breakdown" I wrapped my arms around him pulling me closer

"You're so stupid" He repeated wrapping his arms around my neck "That was so stupid you shouldn't climb trees"

"I know but stupid is how I roll" I laughed again

"Did you hit your head as well?" He snapped pulling away from my embrace, 

"No I don't think so" I shrugged, Akaashi furrowed his eyebrows angrily

"You are a major idiot" He insisted as he continued to treat my wounds disinfecting and covering the bleeding ones with bandages.  All the while he kept repeating that I was an idiot, over and over again.  By the time he was finished I had a huge bandage on my forehead and my cheek and tons of mini bandages all over my arms and legs and about a hundred bruises everywhere else.

"You are an idiot Bokuto" He stood up putting his hands on his hips

"I think you've said that about five hundred times Akaashi" I responded with a smir

"I just need to make sure that it's gotten through that thick skull of yours" He scoffed turning around picking up the first aid kit

"You love me anywaysssss" I whined leaning on his back

"Get off me Bokuto" He exclaimed

"Mmm you're no fun" I sighed standing back up

*Time skip: The next day*

I swung my hands at my sides walking to practice Akaashi trailing behind me.  I was still covered in bandages and as soon as I walked into the gym it was pointed out

"Bokuto what did you do?" Komi asked

"Yesterday I made Akaashi cry" I exclaimed proudly ignoring his question

"So he beat you up?" Konoha asked

"This idiot fell out of a tree" Akaashi explained smacking me upside the head.
