Do what Jumpman does to avoid the flames he shoots at you either jump and use Up B in mid air or run as fast towards him if he uses it Mid air. Same goes for Dr Mario and his Pills.
Tip; Mario's Final Smash is a great Edge Guarding tool. Its Best to Use it when near the end of stages to ensure foes don't come back, plus it kills them too.
