For Donkey Kong i have to say his Final Smash in Smash 4 was erhm...... Useless to some extent if your not using for edge guard which i totally recommend it for. if you ever get caught try to side step to the rhythm by using your down dodge.
and in Ultimate move away from him as you see him move his his fist. A lot final smashes usually require a hit to be activated in order for them to work so this show be fine for Dk.
and For Diddy Kong, avoid getting hit by the peanuts and air dodging and rolling show help you avoid the missle barrage for both games.
