I just left school and it was such a long day
I have three tests tomorrow and I understand everything but I'm just nervous
I can't fail these
Also Jack still won't look at me even though Corbyn's okay
It's kind of annoying
Right now I am on my way to the hospital but before I do I'm going to call my parents
I call my mom and she answers right away
"Hi honey I haven't spoken to you in a while"
"Yeah i know. I miss you guys"
"We miss you too. What have you been up to?"
"Nothing really. Corbyn got into a car accident that's really everything"
"Oh is he okay"
"Yeah he's getting out today"
"Good. Well how's school"
"About that. I found out that I'm number one in my class and I have to write a speech for graduation"
"Oh my god that is amazing"
"Yeah. Do you think there's any chance that you and dad will be back by graduation. I really want you guys to be there"
"When is it"
"In two months. The 12th"
"Oh I'm so sorry we won't be back by then"
"But mom. This is important. You only graduate at the top of your class once and not everyone does it"
"I'm sorry it's work"
"Can't you just take it off I need you and dad to be there for me."
"Taylor, we're all the way in Australia"
"I'll pay for your ticket"
"Taylor please"
"No I need you guys. It's the most important day of my life so far. Please. You only have to come for the day of the graduation and then you can go back."
"You don't understand"
"The only thing I don't understand is why my parents can't support me for one day of my life. I'll have no one and that's awful. I'm the smartest in my grade and I'll have absolutely no people to be there for me"

"But I want my parents"
"We can't afford a ticket to California and back to Australia plus the tickets to graduation"
"I get however many I need free"
"Still we don't have money for that"
"Fine don't come and see your only daughter graduate."

"No. I don't want you guys to come if you don't want to anyways."
"Honey please"
"Goodbye mom" I hang up and throw my phone on the other seat
I wipe my tears and focus on the road ahead. I'm not about to get into an accident

I get to the hospital and Corbyn is standing up talking to his dads and doctor
I walk over and he hugs me
"I'm leaving right now" he smiles
"Really?"
"Yup"
"Great."
"Can we go out to lunch I haven't had good food in a while"
"Sure ask your dad's though"
"I already did and they said yes"
"Okay then let's go"
