today had been an unusually productive day, on most days i'd spend my time writing songs to throw away or lounging about
i was sent on a pointless mission, beaten by some kid
i knew they sent the wrong guy,,,,
i flopped onto my bed and sighed
was i really ment to be here? to be a nobody?
i plugged my earphones and shuffled.

my eyes widened at the song title
i hadn't heard this song in years
i think it was even before i became a nobody was the last time i heard it
i used to love this band
me and pix-

it seems id forgotten about him too
he was the last time i remembered having a true friend that i could trust
he had beach blonde hair and emerald green eyes
his body was small and skinny but his punches hurt like fuck
his face had a little scar to when he fell of that tree once
i was there. i was the one who helped him up
i remembered the times we'd sit on his roof and listen to this band
and others to
he's the one who cut my hair into the way it is today
i'd kept it like that just for him
i didn't like it, but he did. so i delt with it
this song in particular was his favourite .
he used to close his eyes and just lay there
and listen.
i didn't give the song much thought...
until one night....
two years ago, thursday 16th of june. half way through the year
demyx's summer had been quite boring since pix hung out with other friends
he usually sat in now, wondering what life would be like if pix's friends didn't hate him
his phone buzzed. the first in a few hours
oh shit.
pix: help. please.
demyx ran out of his house in a heartbeat
the sun was setting on his street
not long until it was dark
he called him 3 times
no answer.
shit. he must be in trouble
he burst open the red door and ran to his room
"pix! pix where are you?-"
he burst open his door to find him
on the ground lay a half dead pix
with a knife beside him
covered in his own blood
"oh my god,.,,,pix,,,what have y-"
pix's body started moving
his weak and dying hands grabbed the knife
"come with me"
demyx took a step back
"what?"
"do it. please dem."
his eyes widened
he didn't know what to do
"n-no-" he whispered. "we need to get you hel-"
"NO" pix interrupted "let me die here dem. i'm not needed anymore in this life. just let me be"
he could feel his eyes getting puffy
"no! i need to call an ambulance. i know you want to leave but....pix....please..."
it was too late
pix dropped the knife
unintentionally, it landed on demyx's wrist
giving it a scar
"oh no. oh s-"
demyx got up
pix was dead
and he didn't do anything to stop it
present day
as the song ended
i didn't bother skipping it to the next one
i just let it play
on repeat
for the rest of the night.
