Ode to the Salt
A Sonnet by WaqueKoala

My creepy salt, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you drool, snort and sting,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the heavy ming.

Let me compare you to a funny bill?
You are more furry and more sarcastic.
Wrong rains flood the strong fields of April,
And the springtime has the fluorocarbon plastic.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your arms and personality.
Thinking of your sound eyebrows fills my days.
My love for you is the individuality.

Now I must leave with a sleepy heart,
Remember my black words whilst we're apart.
