Natsu POV
She was crying I'm going to kill him

Narrator pov

Natsu had a look of anger in his eyes while Lucy was just crying and looking at him with shock and hope in her eyes but all of a sudden Lucy saw nothing but darkness

D had knocked her out so know she's passed out and there is an angry natsu standing in the room with his

'twin brother'

They weren't identical twins they looked nothing alike and there personality couldn't be any more different Natsu tried to look the other way when it came to his twin but he went to far this time he wasn't going to let him go.

Natsu was glaring daggers at his twin and then he ran up to him and punched in the gut his twin coughed up a little blood from the impact.
Natsu then went to punch his twin again but his twin caught his fist bringing him closer and lifted his leg using his knee to hit him in the gut.

Natsu coughed up blood and fell

Twin got this opportunity to get on him and keep punching him until Natsu reaches for his leg and got a knife cutting his twin on the arm

Lucy was now on awake siting up with her knees to her chest while putting her head down and crying loudly she wanted everything to go back to how it was before her parents died

Natsu heard this while he was fighting his twin and looked at Lucy and sighed he knew he had to end this fast.

Natsu charged to his twin to cut him again but his twin bent over and cut his leg natsu got this opportunity and got behind him and cut his throat they may be related but Natsu never cared for his brother he only saw him as an enemy

Natsu pov

Lucy was on the bed with her knees to her chest and she was crying

This is all my fault I shouldn't have brought her here but now that she is I have to protect her with all of my life.

I put a hand on Lucy's shoulder and she began to cry more

"Lucy it's me Natsu..."

She looked back at me and then jumped into my chest while crying making shirt damp

"N-Natsu h-he tried t-to k-ki-"

"Shhhh shhhhh it's going to be okay I promise no one will get to you"

I said as I stoked her hair and put my other hand on her back we stayed there she just kept crying making me feel terrible.

A few minutes later my brothers came in and understood the situation that was going on I'm guessing that they knocked out all of the other guys

Lucy just kept crying on my chest she had her hands on my chest as well gripping my shirt.

I then heard her stop crying and she was breathing evenly by then I had laid on my back I looked at her and she had her checks stained with tears with her eyes closed her face was red from crying and she was sleeping I sat up and carried her bridal style taking her to a car so I could take her home.

Time skip to when they get to Lucy's house still natsu pov

I'm inside of Lucy's house she doesn't have a lot of furniture I guess that she hasn't decorated since she moved in I go in her room to set her down on bed I tuck her in and kiss her forehead

"Goodnight"

I turn around to leave but she grabs the hem of my shirt and says

"Stay with me..."

I know how she's feeling so I stay with her I lay next to her in bed we're facing each other

"Thank you... for everything"

She says and smiles

"You don't have to thank me just go to sleep okay"

I say while I pull her towards me she snuggles in my chest and falls asleep
