today a guy from 85th-B said my hair looked cute. it was funny because he had pink hair too. i was glad that he decided to talk to me and even more glad that it happened in the canteen.
❝ are you going to finish that? ❞ i turned around to meet him face to face and properly gesture towards his fruit cake.
❝ nah, you can have it. ❞ he nodded, offering me his plate. ❝ like a wise sponge named spongebob squarepants once said - and everybody pretends to like the fruit cake. guess i'll have to open an exception, but that's okay. ❞
❝ you did a spongebob reference! i like you. can i introduce you to my lord and saviour, bald mario? ❞
❝ yea, sure. i'm jin-sol, by the way. ❞ the corners of his mouth lift up into a smile. was that a korean name?
❝ maneki. nice to meet ya. ❞
