Death, is an inevitable thing.

Your life is a smooth flow of water, sometimes comes the waves crashing but still it goes on. Enjoying your life, family, school, work, perhaps a love life but then, snap, it ends. Just like that.

Death doesn’t come with an announcement. Death is real. Even if you tell your mind a hundred times, it would be late when you die, you still had time but then, who knew this could be your last time taking in the air, breathing.

You could be gone the next second.

But Soojin didn’t fear death. She announced her own death when she made up her mind and stood on the train tracks.

"Ah, my child you're so eager to hear the story again," her mom cooed, cradling Soojin's small body in hers as her mom giggled. "Okay, I will tell the story of the princess again. You know what, Soojin? Someday a prince might come and save you too."

That was all in the past.

She didn’t want to be saved.
