Ashton: Coming into the dark room, you held the glass of water in your hands, along with the bottle of ibuprofen. Ashton was in the midst of a migraine, and a bad one at that. The lights were all off, the window draped over, and no sound. Any little thing would make it worse, but you needed to give him the painkillers. So without a word, you shut the door again as quietly as you could, walking over to the bed and gently removing the covers from his face. You were met with a groan in reply, but ignored it, knowing he needed to take the medicine to help. Taking out a couple small pills, you held them to his mouth that he held open lazily. You helped him sip the water, tilting his head forwards so that he didn’t dribble over his t-shirt. It was like taking care of an infant, but you could understand the immense amount of pain that coursed through his skull. Once he had managed to get down the medicine, you pulled the blanket up over the both of you, tucking his head into your chest to block any further sound or light that could bother him. His arms tightened around your waist as he squeezed his eyes shut, both of you just wanting him to be well again.

Calum: Hearing a loud groan come through the door, your head looked over seeing your boyfriend clutching his head as he shut the door behind him. This wasn’t the first time he had come home with a headache from work, but the way his face was twisted in pain indicated that it was worse than the others. You set your book down, getting up to go stop him from going any further. “You go lay down and I’ll bring you some food and water… you probably haven’t eaten yet have you?” He shook his head letting out an exhausted sigh. “So much work… no breaks…” he whispered and you nodded, understanding. “Go lie down,” you repeated, pushing him in the direction he needed to go. 20 minutes later, you entered the bedroom with a bowl of chicken soup and a glass of water. “Here love…” you said quietly, setting them down on the bedside table. “Cuddle?” he asked, his voice muffled by the pile of blankets he had stacked on top of him. “Don’t you want to eat..?” “I will later, can you just please cuddle with me..?” Smiling softly to yourself, you peeled away the layers of blankets, slipping under next to him, cuddling yourself into him. Calum’s arms went around you, his face resting in the crook of your neck, his breathing slowing gently until he was asleep.

Luke: He had been on the couch with his arm draped over his eyes for the last few hours, the headache he had gained from a long day of interviews showing no signs of leaving. He had already taken the painkillers and had a glass of water constantly by his side, but nothing was helping. “Babe, maybe we should go to the clinic…” you suggested, wiping your hands with the dishtowel as you just came from washing dishes. “No I’m fine,” he mumbled, not bothering to remove his arm. “Luke it’s been 4 hours and nothing has improved… I think we should go to the clinic just to make sure… They might be able to suggest some other ways to help…” you said quietly, not wanting to disturb him further. “(Y/N) no,” he snapped and you jumped slightly at his sudden tone. Understanding that he was in pain, you didn’t take it personally. “Okay… fine… I’ll be in the kitchen if you need anything…” Leaving him on the couch, you entered back into the kitchen, sitting at the table pulling out your phone. A small amount of time had passed before you felt a pair of arms snake around your neck and a kiss to the top of your head. “I’m sorry…” your boyfriend whispered into your hair. “Let’s go to the clinic because it’s just getting worse… and I didn’t mean to snap at you.” You got up from your chair, turning to hug him gently. “It’s okay… let’s go get you better okay?”

Michael: "Michael?" you asked, setting your bags down in the kitchen. You had just gotten home from shopping, only to return to an oddly quiet house. That wasn’t normal. Usually, your boyfriend would be right there with a kiss, but not today. You went into the living room, nothing. His car was in the garage so obviously he was home. Maybe he was in bed. But why would he be in bed so early? It was barely 6. The door was cracked slightly and when you opened it, surely enough, there he was, tucked under the comforter, breathing softly. You walked over to the bed, gently running a hand through his coloured hair. He jumped awake, looking up at you and relaxing once again. "Hey (Y/N)…" he sighed, closing his eyes again, enjoying your touch. "How come you’re in bed so early baby..?" you asked, continuing the soothing movements. "My head really hurts… I already took some Advil but it doesn’t seem to be working…" A frown formed on your lips, understanding very well the intensity of his headaches. "Have you been drinking water?" you asked and he pointed to the half empty glass. Nodding you turned back to him. "Can you maybe lay with me for a bit..?" he asked peeking an eye open. "Oh of course babe…" you whispered, kicking off your runners and slipping in under the blankets, feeling the warmth of his body radiate against your skin. You put your arms around his waist, moving closer to his so he could hide his face in your neck. "Feel better sweetheart…"
