(Midoriya's POV)
It has been a few weeks after me and Shoto's first date, our other classmates are working hard for their Provisional Hero License, while Shoto and I were working hard to think of when we will tell our parents this whole dating thing.

We were in the middle of study hall and I looked behind me, Shoto was chatting with Yaoyorozu and the others, or at least he just paid attention and said nothing. Regarding our thoughts on this problem, my mom shouldn't be a problem. She is supportive to my decisions, she never questioned of me suddenly having a quirk, she is more open-minded on personal issues ever since she regretted her mistake when I was 4-years old.

I was left in my own personal thoughts until someone popped into my thinking, "So Mido... I heard about you and Todo hehehehe." Gossip and Alien Queen, Ashido had just come in aiming for the kill. She had a smirk of triumph, most likely because Shoto and I were hiding this whole dating thing for now. "Ashido, please don't tell anyone. Shoto and I, we're still sorting things-" she cut me off with a quiet and amazed 'ooh', "So how far have you gone? You even call yourselves by first name now, that is sooo cute! Tell me Mido, do your friends know about this? Does Uraraka know about this?" I was caught dead in my tracks, of course no one else knew about us, Shoto was still warming up to Iida and Uraraka.

"Ashido, please. We will make things public once we sort this out." I looked at her with a steel might, it seemed to work because her smirk faded. "Alright, alright. I don't want to be on your bad side, Midoriya. But I still call dibs on being the first one to hear your love story. So until then, I will keep quiet about you and Shoto." She emphasized on Shoto's name, imitating the way I said it. Then she finally left, I was glad I was able to shoo her away on my own. It seemed like Shoto's irritated face was enough to make her stop, I had to thank him later.

Classes ended early once more, again the staff had another faculty meeting or something of the sort. As I was preparing my things to get out of class, Shoto had then stopped right in front of my desk. "Izuku, we need to talk." He said as quietly as possible, I only nodded and put the last of my things away and then following Shoto down the halls. When we got to the part where there weren't much people Shoto finally spoke up, "So do we go to your mom's today and tell her?"

He was right of course, this was the perfect opportunity especially with our classes being dismissed early. "Okay, I'll let her know we are coming." I brought out my phone and quickly sent a message to my mom. Then, Shoto and I headed out.

We rode the train to the nearest bullet train station from my house, which was just a quick walk away. "So Shoto, how do we say this dating thing?" I asked Shoto as we were walking. "Hmmm. We'll say about the whole dating thing, but maybe leave a few details." I nodded to this, knowing exactly what he meant to those few details we're meant to leave. "Okay then." As I said those words we finally arrive at our apartment complex, we quickly got up the stairs towards my house.

We rang the doorbell and almost immediately, my mom had opened the door. "Hi mom." I greeted with extra cheer, I was glad to be back home. "Come on it you two." She smiled at me first, then to Shoto. We got inside and headed towards the living room. We sat on the couch and my mom headed towards the kitchen counter, probably preparing snacks and drinks for us.

As I sat down I took in our house, it wasn't the light blue painted walls, the wooden furniture, the soft green couch that we sat on. I looked over at Shoto, he seemed calmed and collected as always. His green eyes were steady at a point, looking over at the kitchen counter. His hands on his lap without any sort of movement. "So boys, will you be heading to Izuku's room? I'll bring your snacks and drinks there." My mom said over to us as she was busy. "No mam. We'll be staying here, me and Izuku have something to tell you." Shoto replied, which surprised me because I was about to speak up myself. My mom had an approving grunt as she continued her preparations.

After a while, my mom finally finished. She brought up chocolate chip cookies and some ice cold milk tea. "Wow mom, these look delicious." She set down the snacks and drinks and sat down on another couch. "Okay, so what do you boys have to tell me?" She asked, her tone hinted with excitement. "Mom, actually Shoto and I are dating." I said it outright. "Is that so?" My mom took a sip of her milk tea and raised an eyebrow. "Yes, we have been dating for almost a month now, and I plan to make this a long-term relationship." Shoto inputted.

My mom squealed as she hurriedly put down her cup. "Oh I am so happy for you, Izuku. The truth is, Izuku hasn't had much friends in middle school. I am glad he has lots of friends now, but now he also has a boyfriend." "Mam, your son is a great person. Probably the kindest person I have ever known. He is self-less and also eager to his self-improvement. He had also heleped me accept of my power. He is worthy of becoming a hero." I flushed at Shoto's response, my mom's eyes lit up and her smile grew larger. "Thank you, Shoto." I could only say as my mom looked at me radiating cheer.

We finished our cookies and milk tea soon enough, Shoto and my mom were hitting it off great. My mom recalled childhood stories and Shoto listened in intently, she had even brought out a photo album of my pictures. Most were times I took a picture with some sort of All Might convention or collectible. "Mom, you can stop showing Shoto my embarassing photos now." "Alright. Alright. I am just so happy that you told me about your boyfriend." "Mom! We're just dating, he's not-" my mom cut off my response with, "But Todoroki, have you told your father or a relative about this? I recall your father not finding Izuku as... pleasant." She sighed, probably remembering the dinner fiasco that happened in this house.

"Actually, both my parents are unavailable at the moment. But I shall tell them both soon enough." I remembered how Todoroki told me of the status of his father at Kamino Ward in Hosu City. "Mom, please." I looked at my mom, pleading silently that she would not pry on Shoto's issue. My mom just nodded and gave me a gentle smile. "It's okay. Next time, I want to meet your parent. Your mother, if possible." Todoroki nodded grimly, he knew well how his father bursted in this house.

My phone rang because of an alarm I had set. It was already getting late. "Mom, we have to go now. We don't want our adviser to catch us out past curfew." "Alright, it has been quite a day. Take care on your way back, okay?" Shoto and I nodded to this order and stood up. "Bye mom!" We both waved goodbye to my mom as we closed the door.

(Todoroki's POV)
Izuku and I waved goodbye to Izuku's mom. She was an extremely kind woman, very much like her son. As we went down the stairs, Izuku was smiling cheerily to our success. I myself had a great time, just like last time I was at the Midoriya household during the holidays.

We were on the train headed towards school, the sun was starting to dip down the heights of buldings, the sky was at an orange hue. I looked over the sky as Izuku waswas seemingly busy on his phone.

It was really a great day, and it was really off to a great start. I wish this good luck rolled on for a while, at least up until we talk to my parents.
