A/n: I deleted any update that really wasn't that important to the story so that the story moves right along and more smoothly, after almost a year of having this book, I really shouldn't post thing's in it that aren't related to a new chapter or what I like to call and "Ad Break" Were I show off art/shamelessly plug my YouTube and other social media's as well as little director cuts to show you and explain why I did something an why I scrapped an idea.

You sat up after a good 5 minutes of contemplating life and feeling gross after that dream. You don't see her like that, you know you don't and even if you did, she's with Jasper. After you stretched and grabbed your clothes you walked into Peridot's room, the same mess it has been since Peridot left, and into the dark bathroom.

You looked in the mirror at your appearance, your hair wild after sleeping and the bags under your eyes still faintly their, your eyes them self seemed to shine almost glow slightly in the dark but that could be the light that poured in from the open door in Peridot's room. You turned on the bathroom light and shut the door. You slowly take your shirt off and look in the mirror. Your skin was paler from the lack of sunlight your ribs still seemed bruised, you lightly trailed your fingers over them wincing at each touch,

".....You're okay."

You quietly assured yourself, but of course not everyone agrees,

"Worthless..Stop lying to yourself Y/n...all you are a worthless being..a punching bag..."

You looked in the mirror and stared at yourself for a long while, you just had to reassure yourself, just hang on,

"Tonight will be fun. I will have fun. Nothing will bring me down. Just hang in there, you aren't worthless, if you were why would Bismuth and them throw me a party. You got this Y/n."

You waited a while for a argument of the living demon in your head but all was silent. You sigh and smile slightly, reassurance is key. You got dressed in the outfit for the party then walked out and to the living room, sitting down and replaying to a text Amy sent you.

You looked up at the sound of Lapis's door opening, her outfit was cute. She wore a light blue dress with a wave design on the chest area, the waist wrapped with a darker shade of blue with a blue diamond that matched her necklace she wore. You felt your dream rush back into your head and your face flushed, you used the collar of your face to cover your mouth and avert your eyes,

"Hey, if you need a ride...You can come with me and My friends..."

Lapis looked at you and then at the door after a knock was heard, She raised a finger as she walked to the door, she opened it enough for her to stick her head out, she seemed to be whispering with the person, only catching her faintly telling them they can't come in and to wait. After a few seconds she shut the door softly and looked at you,

"I'm actually gonna catch a ride with Jasper....So-"

"Oh!...Uh, yeah, okay, well I guess i'll see you there?"

"Yeah..."

She said as she grabbed her key and walked out, the last thing you here is Jasper,

"Come on babe, we're gonna be late"
