A few days later, when Edd was already out of the hospital.

So... Today is Edd's Birthday...
I already have his gift... But I'm kinda nervous to give it to him...
Uhhh.... Guess I have to do it anyway...
I have no choice...
If I want him to like me... I need to look like I like giving him things and stuff...
Ugh... Here I go.
I get up, dress up my casual hoodie, put on the hood and go to the store to get the pre-ordered gift.
I was really nervous...
I put on the gift behind my back and call Edd to a different room, away from Tom and Tord.
Matt: H-Hey Edd... I wanted to give you your gift... In private...
Tom: Oooo~ Matt is all lovey-dovey~
Matt: Shut the fricc up Tom.
Edd: U-Um... Can we go already before you kill eachother?
Matt: Yea. Of course.
We ended up going to Edd's room...
I took a deep breath...
Edd: So... What is it you wanted to give me?
Matt: U-Uhm...
I slowly hand him the gift.
His eyes immediately light up and a little tear of joy fell down his brown eyes.
He only covers his mouth when he sees the thing he always wanted the most.

Edd just hugs me really tight, the kitten even jumped off my hands.
A tear even fell down my face when Edd hugged me. It's all I ever wanted... Someone hugging me... Because they... Wanted... Not because they were... forced...
Matt: N-No problem...
Edd: Matt... A-Are you crying?
Matt: W-What?! Of course not!
I quickly rub off the tears away from my bright cyan eyes.
