Did you know that you snore in your sleep?
Or that when you concentrate, you bite your bottom lip?
When you laugh your nose scrunches up
And your cheeks flush with colour.

You bounce your legs a lot
And you cross them at the dinner table.
When your sick you curl up into a ball
And need my affection more than ever.

When we fight
Your eyes become stern.
I'm no longer "baby" or "honey"
I am my name.
But afterwards, you always pull me in for a hug and a kiss
And tell me you love me.

I wonder how much of this you notice you do.
