It was that time of the year again.
The time when people would normally welcome with bright smiles and warm hearts, with so many expectations for the many days ahead as they celebrate with various kinds of festivities. Well, to be fair, you have always anticipated this time of the year too. No, not the parties, nor the fancy clothes or the pile of gifts waiting to be opened, nor the cake. Okay, maybe you would say yes for the cakes, since you have always had a sweet tooth, after all. But still, the reason why you have always get excited for this day of the year was not all about the rouse and rejoice to celebrate the day.
It was the fact that you were to be a year older at the moment this day arrived.
