The next morning I wake up to a note saying" Dear Emma , we got called in on a case in Sacramento but don't worry we got this covered & I'll be okay love Morgan" I go down to the Kitchen making his favorite pancakes putting them on the plate going to his room seeing him sleeping peacefully I go to him siting on the side of his bed saying" hey bud let's go eat some pancakes" Grayson asks" momma why aren't you working with dad" I say" I noticed that when I'm gone you get more & more upset so last night I talked to my boss to see if I can get a break from working because I need this & you need me here & he said yes" Grayson takes my phone knowing Aaron is my boss calling him I here" this is Agent Aaron Hotchner what can I do for you" Grayson says" Mr. Aaron this is Grayson Morgan" Aaron says "Grayson what can do for you" Grayson says" I'd like to thank for letting mommy take a break from working , she deserves this more then anyone because she's a great agent & the most amazing mommy I could ever ask for, I know it'll be hard for you on cases since your a man down but this is what she needed the most , so I thank you with my whole heart" Aaron says" it's no problem Grayson but I want you to take care of her for the team okay, call us if anything happens okay" Grayson says"yes sir" hanging up I smile at him asking" what would you like to do today bud" he says" can we just stay here & watch our favorite show" I say "of course"I turn on tv getting us something to eat & drink Grayson asks" do you miss & worry about dad" I say" I do but I know that the team will take care of him" so we watched our favorite shows when it got late I said" alright bud I'll tell you what; if you get in PJ's we can go up to my room & continue watching these plus you can sleep with me but you can't pee in my bed okay" Grayson nods going to get in Pj's when I get a call from Morgan I answer saying" hey Baby daddy how are you" Morgan says" doing good momma, how's little dude" I say" he's good, I made a deal with him that if he gets in Pj's now that we can continue our show & he can sleep in our bed with me but he can't pee in the bed" Morgan says" that's good ,it's what you both need time together" I ask" what am I gonna say to Grayson he's used to being the only kid & getting all our attention, he's gonna be upset that most of all my attention will be on our new baby" Morgan says" I'll talk to him when the baby comes" I say" okay" Morgan says" take deep breaths & relax" I say" is there any reason you called" Morgan says"no just checking in" I say" are you okay ,you sound worried" Morgan says "I'm just worried that you'll go into labour & I'm not gonna be there for you" I say" if I do it'll be okay" Morgan says" if you feel any contractions you go straight to the hospital"I say" that's my plan, I got to go"Morgan says "take care" hanging up I go to my bed seeing him already sleep in bed I change in pajama's falling asleep, the next couple days go like that but today I had my hospital bag packed & by the door, I'm tanning outside while Grayson's swimming in the pool Morgan had installed when all of the sudden pain goes throw my stomach I say " shit" I call Grayson saying "Grayson we have to go to the Hospital put your shirt on now" Grayson rushes saying" what's going on" I say" your sister is coming" Grayson says" really" I say" yea, get your go bag" rushing to the car with Grayson I put my siren on when Grayson asks" I thought you could only turn it on for extreme emergencies" I say" this is an extreme emergency" Grayson nods & I say" bud , I want you to call Aaron Hotchner & tell him Mommy is having contractions & on our way to the hospital" Grayson does grabbing my phone selecting Aaron's contact saying" Mr. Aaron it's Grayson , my mommy is having contractions & is on our way to the Hospital" I hear Aaron say" alright tell her that I'm sending Garcia, Reid & your grandpa" I nod at Grayson, Grayson says" is mommy gonna be okay" Aaron says"she's gonna be in pain for a little bit but they'll give her some medicine"we get to the hospital going in Grayson says" help us my mommy is in labor" A doctor runs out with a wheel chair helping me in it wheeling me to the birthing room getting me in the bed hooking up machines to me & Ellie ,Grayson come's in asking "are you gonna be okay mommy" I say" yes, but I'll be sore & in pain for awhile though okay, I need you to wait in the eating room until grandpa, god mother Penelope &god father Reid comes in so they know what room I'm in" Grayson nods going out as a nurse walks in saying " he's very smart" I say" even though he's in elementary school, he's the smartest kid their" she says " you must be very proud of him" I say" I am" she says " your dilation is at a 6" I nod saying" Ellie you're giving mom a hard time" I hear dad's laugh asking"how much are you dilated too" I say" A 6" I ask" is Derek still on the case" Dad nods saying" yea but it's almost over" I tell him " Derek needs to know" dad nods saying" alright call him" I get my phone calling him he picks up saying " Derek Morgan here" I smirk saying" hey baby daddy, I'm in labor at the hospital" Derek says" why didn't I get informed" I say " Hotch wanted you in the field & he didn't tell you because you'd get distracted" Derek asks" whose with you" I say " Rossi, Reid & Penelope along with Grayson" Derek says" we're just finishing up the case & we'll come straight to the hospital" so the last check the nurse said" it's time to push" I told Reid "take Grayson to the waiting room" Reid nods taking him out while dad & Penelope help me birth baby Ellie, after a 3 hour labor I have Ellie in my arms & tears are streaming down my face because of how happy I am , dad says" she looks just like her mommy" a nurse helps me sit up with Ellie I look down when Ellie's sleeping I say quietly" go get Reid & Grayson" Penelope nods getting them coming in Grayson comes running in loud, dad shushes him saying" your little sister is sleeping" Grayson asks quietly " where is she" I mention him to come sit down be side me lowering Ellie  blanket, Grayson says " she's cute" I nod saying" yes she is" while we're waiting on Morgan & the others , nurses come in changing my IV's and checking on Ellie, I decide that I'm not gonna be an agent anymore, the rest come & Morgan comes rushing in seeing Ellie, tears come down his face saying" she's so cute"  I say " here hold her" Morgan holds her & Aaron says " how you holding up" I say " tired & hungry" Aaron says " they'll bring you some food" I say " I need to talk to you when we get back to the bureau in private" Aaron says " alright, you make a wonderful mom" I thank him saying " I'm just worried that Grayson is gonna get upset & think I don't love him because my attention will be mostly on Lilly" Aaron says " don't worry if that happens Morgan will talk to him" I nod saying " I'm glad  that we have this team, they've helped me when I needed them, Penelope being an amazing godmother brought Ellie tons of things" Aaron says " yea she'll do that" so after everyone leaves & Morgan stays the night when he asks " what did u need to talk to Hotch about in private" I say " I've realized that with me being in the field & working on cases that it takes my time away being with the kids also it could put them in danger so I've decided that I'm resigning from being an agent" Morgan says " this is what makes you a good mom is you know what's best for you & your family even if it means leaving the job you love doing" I nod saying " I just need to figure out how I'm gonna tell the team I'm leaving, it'll be the most hard on Reid & Penelope" Morgan says " you'll figure it out" I nod falling asleep with Ellie on my chest. The next morning I wake up & check my self out going to the bureau to talk to Aaron getting there I look over the bullet pin watching everyone I decided to write Spencer a letter explaining why I'm doing this" Spencer's letter says " dear Spencer, I've wrote you this letter because I'm resigning from being an agent, this has nothing to do because of the job because I loved being an agent with the amazing team, I love everyone in this weird family like your magic science trick, your facts about everything, but I've decided to resign from being in the BAU because I need to be with my kids , when the team is always traveling & in the field it does take my time away from being with my kids & it may at some point if I stayed in the BAU put them in danger, I don't want this to effect your job because I know when Gideon left it effected your job deeply & I'll always be there for you Spence you can always text , call or even FaceTime me, love Emma" I head to Aaron's office knocking he says " come in" going in I come in closing the door being me , Elly with me Aaron asks " why did you want speak with me in private" I say "I've decided that I'm gonna resign from being in the BAU because I've realized that when we're always working it takes my time away from my kids" Aaron says " I understand & I support you" I nod giving him a hug handing my badge & credentials over walking out of the room with Lilly , everyone is sad I say " this is nothing about you guys it's just I've realized that when I'm always traveling it takes my time away from my kids, I have enjoyed being with you guys on the team & I'll always will be here for you guys, you can all text , call or FaceTime me" Spencer starts crying so " I hug him as he cries into my shoulder I say " I'll always be here when you need me, you can always text , call and FaceTime me" Spencer nods letting me hug everyone else dad comes up to me saying " I'm proud of you" I thank him going to see Penelope, I stand at the door waiting for her to see me she turns around saying " your leaving the team" I nod saying " I need time with my family especially now since I have Ellie, I want to make sure I'm there for her first everything" Penelope hugs me saying " I want you to make sure that we can have girls nights because I don't want to be able to not see you" I say " the only job I'll have is full time mom" Penelope nods hugging me asking " you wanna walk out together" I nod saying " yea" she locks up everything I pick up Ellie when Grayson comes running to me asking " what about dad" I say " it's up to dad if he wants to stay here or leave" Grayson asks " won't it be hard for you" I say "yes it'll be hard for a few days but your aunt JJ & her husband Will does it" Grayson asks " what are you gonna do mommy" I say " well right now your baby sister is gonna need me" Grayson nods hugging my leg making me smile so when we leave I stop at the doors looking it over sighing, leaving the bureau I get everyone settled in the car driving home taking 20 minutes, everyone getting out I grab Ellie getting the mail from the mail box seeing one from a book publisher I really loved ever since I was a little girl going inside I put Ellie to sleep  turning on the baby monitor picking up the mail from the publishing company reading " Dear Mrs.Morgan I have read your email with your application & references list I get super excited so I get my phone out calling Preston saying " Hi it's Emma Morgan I just got off your mail & I would love to write books" Preston says " a novel has to have 80,000 words, 320 pages" I say " I know my dad is a writer too" Preston says " I'll send you a guide and everything" I say " thank you again" Preston says " it's no problem" so I go get my laptop when Ellie starts crying walking to her first I say " what is sweetheart" I get her finally calmed down getting my laptop when Morgan FaceTimes me saying " hey baby momma how's Ellie" I say " well she was a little fussy 5 minutes ago but I just got her down for a nap" Morgan asks "how are you doing" I say "good, the publishing company I always talk about he has reviewed my email with my references & application & I've been given the job to write a book" Morgan says " that's amazing what are you planing on writing first" I say " I'm thinking of doing it based on my life starting at when I was in San Diego" Morgan says " that's good, when are you gonna start it" I say "now that I have Ellie settled down, I'm gonna start it now" Morgan says " I'll leave you too it" I say " good luck on the case" he hangs up so I pull over my little desk putting my laptop on it starting my story (A/N- the story will be in the next chapter) after awhile Ellie wakes up hungry so I go into the room putting on my breastfeeding tank sitting in my chair latching her on to feed her, it's just me & her because Grayson goes to school again so it's peaceful & quiet after feeding her, she falls asleep so I take the chance to take a nap when I'm in the middle of my nap I get woken up by Ellie crying so I get up seeing Ellie saying " little one what are you doing" she makes cute noises I look at the time seeing it's time to get Grayson so I put my hair in a bun pulling on sweatpants and grab a hoodie getting Ellie in her little outfit then in her car seat going there taking about 10 minutes then waiting for Grayson in the line of cars he comes up to the car & as Im about to tell him to be quiet because Ellie's sleeping he slams the door waking Ellie I sigh as she starts crying I tell Grayson " you have to start thinking before you do things now okay, since we have little Ellie we can't make big noises like slamming doors, talking to loud or making huge ruckus because she's a baby and they get woken up easily" Grayson says " I'm sorry, it's just school isn't fun anymore" I ask " what's going on" Grayson says the most devastating thing I'd not want to hear " I overheard one of my buddies saying that he's only friends with me because he's scared of you and dad then all my other friends left me" I say " I'm sorry bud I know they're your best friends" Grayson asks " how was it for you" I say " well bud I grew up with your Grandpa but when I got older I got a scholarship for a nice college in San Diego where I studied criminal behavior, laws and criminal justice but when I had my house broken into & getting hurt I was planning on moving away from San Diego but I just didn't know where until Grandpa got worried & sent your dad to check on me & we started talking and he convinced to move to where we live now & I'll tell you coming away from a state where I had several friends to here where I only had your dad, uncle Aaron & grandpa it was hard but then I got to know the team with your god parent's Penelope & Spencer, your uncle's and Aunts Will & JJ, Emily, and Erin Strauss they're the only friends I have here but bud I know it's hard for you to make new friends but that's what you have to do" I then drive to the Grayson's favorite place getting him his food so I could feed Ellie pulling the car into the parking lot getting out the car with the bag finding the formula and milk putting it in the bottle mixing it up going to the back getting Ellie out of the seat feeding her when I get a call from Morgan I put in on speaker saying " hey babe, how's the case" Morgan says " it's alright, how's everything with you guys" I say " it's alright but Grayson's not liking school because he over heard his friend saying that he's only friends with him because he's scared of us then all the other friends stopped talking to him, he then kind of made me irritated because Ellie woke me up from my nap crying only so we could go pick up Grayson from school & as soon as I was about to tell him to be quiet he slams the door waking up Ellie who I had just gotten to sleep so right now we're at Grayson's favorite restaurant so I could feed and put Ellie back to sleep" Morgan says " I'll talk to him when I get home" I say " thank you babe" Morgan says " no problem" I hang up finishing feeding Ellie I put on her favorite show on my iPad putting her little headphones on her then getting in the car finish driving home taking about 10 minutes when I hear Ellie crying so I look back and Grayson has my iPad, I say " Grayson Morgan give your little sister my iPad now" he makes a noise giving it to her making me irritated saying " when we get him you go straight to your room" he says "uggh" I just drive home when we get there I get Ellie out of the car with my purse finding my keys unlocking the door Grayson runs up to his room slamming the door I go to the living with Ellie putting her too sleep then becoming devastated I put my head in my hands crying for a long time when I hear the door open & close to the house Morgan rushes to me asking " what's going on" I say while crying " on the way here I have Ellie my iPad so she can stay calm & happy but Grayson took so I said Grayson Morgan give ur little sister my ipad now & he was just making me more & more irritated, I don't know what'll happen when he gets older but if he's keeps this up when he gets older I might have to send him to a disciplinary camp" Morgan says " okay, go put Ellie in her crib & go get in bed, I'll go talk to him" I do as he tells me.

I call Emma & she says " hey babe how's the case" I say " alright how's everything with you guys" she says "it's alright but Grayson's not liking school because he over heard his friend saying that he's only friends with him because he's scared of us then all the other friends stopped talking to him, he then kind of made me irritated because Ellie woke me up from my nap crying only so we could go pick up Grayson from school & as soon as I was about to tell him to be quiet he slams the door waking up Ellie who I had just gotten to sleep so right now we're at Grayson's favorite restaurant so I could feed and put Ellie back to sleep" I say " I'll talk to him when I get home from the case " Emma says " thanks" I hang up sighing when Aaron asks " what's going on" I say " Grayson's not behaving for Emma, she just put Ellie to sleep in the car & when they get to the school she was about to tell Grayson to be quiet since Ellie's asleep but he just got in & slammed the door shut" Aaron asks " do we know why he's acting like this" I say " he's not having a good time at school he found out that one of his best friends was only his friend because he was scared of us & the rest of his friends just stopped talking to him" Aaron says "that's not good, how's Emma doing with all this" I say " not good, she was in tears & confusion of why he's acting like this" Aaron says" we should throw a small get together for her when we get back to help her calm down"I nod saying" she also said that if he's gonna be like this when he's older she'll have to put him in disciplinary camp" Aaron says" I have a friend whose a therapist , maybe she can help" I nod thanking Aaron, falling asleep we arrive the airport I get my things going to my SUV putting them in the trunk getting in driving home getting there opening the door, I see something that hurts Emma with your head in her hands I walk up saying "go put Ellie in her crib & go to bed I'll go talk to Grayson" Emma nods & I go up to Grayson's room walking in I sit on the bed saying " come here buddy" he sits across from me so I say " Grayson you have to quite your attitude, I know your friends are being jerks to you because they're scared of your mom & I which makes school not fun & you get upset but you can't take it out on your mom" Grayson says " she's been so preoccupied with Ellie lately which is bad because everything used to be about me" I say " buddy she has to put her attention on Ellie because she's missed all of your firsts due to the job but she's quite this job even though she loved doing it to be with you & Ellie" Grayson says " why did she send me to my room if she loves me" I say " Grayson you have to be more cautious with you actions especially around Ellie, your mom has been very tired and spends 10 or so minutes to put Ellie so sleep so when you don't think before u slam a door to wake Ellie up it makes your mom upset" Grayson says " I don't like Ellie" I say " now that is rude & I'm gonna have a serious talk with your mom" leaving I go back to bed seeing Emma asleep so I climb in bed snuggling up with Emma since it's the weekend the next day we sleep in until we hear Ellie cry Emma gets up putting a robe on going to the room, all of the sudden I hear her say" Derek come here" I race into the room seeing her looking at a hand print of Ellie's butt I ask" who did that" Emma says" I don't know because we both don't hit or spank babies" I think about Grayson sighing, I sit Emma down saying" I think I know who did it" Emma says"who" I say" Grayson" Emma asks" why would you think that" I say" I talked to him last night about his attitude & he said he hates Ellie because your attention is on her now & it used be all on him" Emma gets saddened saying" I can't have him harming our baby" I nod asking" what do you wanna do" Emma says" He could stay a while at Rossi's, He needs to know & understand that the life we give him shouldn't be taken for granted because Rossi was a tough dad who won't take crap" I nod saying " you go call Rossi".
