*as soon as you hard that you turned bright red and ran away, when you were a kid you promised yourself that when you got married everything would be perfect and your sister would be the maid of honor and she's not here anymore, you run until you get to the park near the ice cream shop and you sit in front of the pond and cry, hours go by and you sit there, you knew that this would happen, you never wanted to believe it but it happened, Zach is amazing and you love him so much but who would be your maid of honor, because jake isn't talking to you right now, everything is falling apart, Zach keeps calling but you just keep declining, everyone's called you, well everyone but jake and i mean why would he, he isn't even talking to you, and the only reason you can think of is emily, and Zach calls again and at that moment you throw your phone into the pond nothing can change how you feel right now, you feel someone tap your shoulder and turn around to see jake standing there*
jake- hey
y/n- jake what do you want
jake- i want my best friend back
y/n- best friends don't disappear for two days when they're needed most
jake- i know okay, i fucked up badly but i need you to listen to me
y/n- what jake
*jake sits down next to you*
jake- Zach called me 27 times until i answered then when i did he was crying, because you weren't answering him
y/n- well i threw my phone in the pond

y/n- because everyone was calling me, everyone but the one person who i wanted to talk to

y/n- Zach said he wants to marry me
jake- that's good
y/n- but emily's dead
jake- and in your plans emily was here, she was your maid of honor, she was the one who walked you down the aisle because she cared more about you than your dad did, she was there
y/n- she was in all of them and i don't know what to do without her because everything i do just reminds me of her, every night i lay. in Zach's arms and cry and i thought it would help me but it doesn't

y/n- she always told me that after she died she wanted me to do three things, one she wanted me to be happy, two she wanted me to face one of my fears, three she wanted me to have a kid and name it emily

y/n- ok
*you smile and stand up taking jakes hand, he takes you to the car and drives you to Zach's house, and as soon as you pull in jake kisses your cheek*

jake- you'll know when you see him

jake- i love you but go get your man
*you get out and run up to the door screaming Zach's name, he opens the door and when he sees you everything in your head changes*
