Louis was working.
He listened to the short haired boy talk as he slowly sipped from his pastel mug.
Every now and then, Louis would pick up his purple pen and scribble down some notes after asking a question.
Louis loved his job.
He had the chance to help someone in need.
He had the chance to help change lives for the better.
When the session ended, Louis stood up and gave the boy a hug.
"You've done so much work to get to where you are now. I'm so proud of you, Charlie," he whispered into the teen's ear.
He truly was - is - proud.
All he wanted was to help others.
And that's exactly what he does.
