Chapter 16

Phila and Yuzu walked down the streets together holding hands. Phila looked at Yuzu who seemed sorta upset and remembered Mei
That was the Aihara woman from the Academy. What happened back there?
"U-uhm...Yuzu?" Phila asked
"H-huh? What? Uh y-yes?" Yuzu asked
"Are you feeling okay?" Phila asked
"Oh uh y-yeah" Yuzu said as she smiled at her. Phila looked at her and sighed softly
"If you say so...but...what happened back there?" Phila asked
"Nothing" Yuzu said
"Why was Aihara-san there?" Phila asked
"I said nothing happened. Let's not talk about this" Yuzu said
"O-okay" Phila said. Yuzu looked at her and pulled her into a kiss. Phila blushed and kissed her back softly. Yuzu pulled away and smiled softly with a small blush
"I love you so much" Yuzu said and smiled. Phila looked at her and smiled softly
"I love you too" Phila said and smiled
"Where do you want to go?" Yuzu asked
"Hm? Maybe a walk at the park" Phila said
"Sure. That sounds nice" Yuzu said. Yuzu and Phila walked to the park and walked around enjoying the sun. They both were happy and smiling being together. Yuzu kept on smiling and trying to ignore Mei who kept appearing out of nowhere
Shit if this keep up I'm going to lose it. Ugh why did did have to meet up with her now? I was doing just fine without her. Whatever at least she's gone now
"Hey babe I'm going to get some ice cream. Do you want some too?" Phila asked
"No thanks. I'm good" Yuzu said
"Okay. I'll be back" Phila said and walked away. Yuzu smiled and sighed deeply as she looked down
Ugh...I need to get Mei out of my god damn head!
"Oh hi Yuzu!" A woman said calling her. Yuzu looked up and saw the woman she was in the morning
"S-sasha?" Yuzu asked
"Hey Yuzu. What a surprise bumping into each other like this" Sasha said
"Hehe yeah" Yuzu said and smiled
"So what are you doing here?" Sasha asked
"Oh waiting for my girlfriend" Yuzu said. Sasha's eyes widen for a moment and nodded
"I-I see. You have a girlfriend. That's cute. So how long have you two dated?" Sasha asked and sat down next to Yuzu
"Oh we just started dating yesterday" Yuzu said
"Huh? Yesterday?" Sasha asked
"Mhm" Yuzu said
"How long have you two known each other for?" Sasha asked
"Hmm? Well I met her at the Aihara Academy 6 years ago. We've been friends for a while now" Yuzu said and smiled
"Then why were you out on your own at night?" Sasha asked
"Oh well...uh..." Yuzu mumbled
"Hm? Weren't you with your girlfriend?" Sasha asked as she leaned a bit close to Yuzu. Yuzu backed up a bit and looked away
"I-I was but...it's just something happened" Yuzu said
"Oh something happened? Like what?" Sasha asked
"Mind your own business" Yuzu said
"Yeah I know but I'm just curious" Sasha said and smiled innocently
"Yeah...I can tell" Yuzu said
"Babe I'm back!" Phila said and smiled brightly but when she saw the other woman her smile slowly faded away
"Yuzu...who is this?" Phila asked
"She's just a friend" Yuzu said and stood up walking up to Phila. Phila glared at Sasha but smiled as Yuzu wrapped her arms around her
"Relax baby" Yuzu whispered and kissed her cheek softly. Phila smiled softly and giggled a bit. Yuzu looked somewhere and her eyes widen seeing Mei
Th-this bitch! Is she following me!?
Mei just looked at her and looked away heading to someplace else
"Yuzu?" Phila asked. Yuzu jumped a bit and turned around looking at her girl
"O-oh sorry Phila" Yuzu said and rubbed the back of her neck while smiling nervously
"It's fine Yuzu" Phila said. Yuzu just smiled softly and heard a fire truck nearby. People were screaming and crying for help saying there was a huge fire. Yuzu immediately started to run following the fire truck and pushed the people aside. Her eyes widen seeing a huge fire on an apartment building. Some people started jumping off from the windows and some cried for help. Yuzu watched and saw someone get inside the building
H-huh?! Who was that just now!?
Yuzu ran to the building but the policeman grabbed her
"Hey! It's dangerous!" The officer said
"I don't care! They're is people in there!" Yuzu shouted and got out the man's grip then ran to the building. She got inside and coughed. She trembled and looked around. She saw pieces of the building start to fall down and coughed
Shit! Who the hell-
"HELP! SAVE ME!" A girl cried. Yuzu's eyes widen and ran to the girl's voice. Yuzu followed the voice and arrived to a room
"MAMA! PAPA!" The girl cried. Yuzu was about to walk in until someone dashed inside with a blanket and wrapped it around the girl carrying her. The person turned around with glowing lavender eyes
"M-mei?" Yuzu asked
"Take the girl. I'll help her parents" Mei said and handed the girl to Yuzu. Yuzu just took the girl and headed to the exit using her teleportation powers. She handed the girl to the medics and her eyes widen sensing some feeling inside the building
M-matsuri!? She's in there too!?
Yuzu ran inside passing by Mei who carried the adults
"Yuzu! Don't!" Mei shouted. Yuzu got inside and heard a shout from above. She used her teleportation skill and her eyes widen seeing a man set on fire. He attacked Matsuri pinning her down then kicked her
"You little bitch!" The man shouted. Matsuri shouted in pain but stood back up panting heavily
"Matsuri!" Yuzu shouted. Matsuri's eyes widen and turned around seeing Yuzu
"Get out of here!" Matsuri shouted
"No! I'm not letting you fight alone!" Yuzu said
"No! This is my fight! I have to defeat my father!" Matsuri shouted and put her fists up
"F-father?" Yuzu asked. Taruto growled and glared at Matsuri as he ran up to her
"I should've left you back there! I should've killed you!" Taruto shouted and punched her but Matsuri blocked his attack. Matsuri coughed out blood and kicked her father's side knocking him back. Taruto's body released his flames that were headed towards Matsuri. Matsuri coughed and trembled as the fire got closer towards her. Yuzu ran up to her and grabbed her pulling her away from the attack
"Let me fight!" Matsuri shouted
"You can't fight in this state!" Yuzu said
"I don't care! I hate father! He has to fucking die! I will kill him! He will burn in hell and suffer for everything he'd done to me!" Matsuri shouted and pushed Yuzu. She ran up to her father and got mamy flashbacks of her childhood. Tears built up in her eyes and gritted her teeth
"What a weakling... "
"Pathetic girl..."
"You should just kill yourself. You're a waste of my time"
"Go play by yourself! Why me!?"
"I'm not your father! Leave now before I beat you up!"
"You never obey!"
"Kill yourself!"
"No one will ever love you or want you! You're just a waste of their time! What's your purpose in this world anyways!"
Matsuri's eyes glowed as shadows appeared from her body wrapping themselves around her. Her teeth sharpen and started bleeding as she raised her fist. Those bad memories were replaced with good memories about her real and true family. Her grandparents. Her sisters. Most importantly her mother
"You bastard! DIE!" Matsuri shouted as she attacked her father making the building start to fall apart. Matsuri grabbed Taruto keeping him in place as they both fell
"MATSURI!" Yuzu shouted as she ran up to her but Mei grabbed her
"Hey!" Yuzu exclaimed
"The building's collapsing!" Mei shouted
"But Matsuri! She needs my help!" Yuzu shouted as she struggled to set herself free
"Matsuri will be okay! Trust me!" Mei shouted and grabbed Yuzu dragging her away from the building. The people outside backed up as the building collasped. Mei and Yuzu managed to escape and make it to safety. Yuzu trembled at the sight of the building and teared up
"M-matsuri..." Yuzu mumbled
"She's fine" Mei said and pointed at a figure that came out of the building. The person carried Matsuri bridal style with glowing hazel eyes. Harumin got out the smoke and looked at Matsuri. She sighed deeply and leaned in giving her a kiss on her forehead
"Idiot....stop killing yourself..." Harumin whispered as a tear drop rolled down her cheek landing on Matsuri's cheek

Meanwhile in the Higashi mansion, Shai decided to visit her family. She was skipping all her way to the gates and was stopped by some guards
"Who are you?" The guard asked. Shai looked at the guards and smiled
"I'm part of the Higashi family" Shai said and giggled
"Huh? A Higashi?" The guard asked
"Mhm. I even brought my doggy along" Shai said and brought up her pet. The dog barked and sat down
"H-huh? That dog belongs to him! The one who was assassinated!" The guard exclaimed
"Only the heirs of the Higashi are gifted with Mrs. Higashi's pups" The other guard said
"Hm? To be honest...I'm the next and true heir of the Higashi family" Shai said
"Stop lying! You don't belong here. Now get out before we kick you out" The guard said. Shai looked at the guards and laughed softly
"You guys are really funny" Shai said. Suddenly a woman came up and looked at the mysterious woman
"Ah hi there granny. I see that you're still alive after all these years. Hehe" Shai giggled and smiled. The old Higashi looked at her and gave her a glare but then smiled
"Come on in my beloved granddaughter" Mrs. Higashi said and smiled
"Hehe thanks granny" Shai said as she smiled back. The guards looked at each other and allowed the white haired woman in. Shai's pet dog followed her from behind and Shai followed her grandmother being guided inside the mansion
"You're just in time. Your cousins are back" Her grandmother said
"Cousins?" Shai asked
"Well since I remarried someone else and ended up getting a son which makes him your father's stepbrother and making him your uncle. He then got married giving me three wonderful boys...such a disappointment" Her grandmother said as she growled
"Why are you upset?" Shai asked
"I asked for a girl but all I get is pathetic boys but...you were a miracle. Finally a Higashi girl" Her grandmother and smiled
"Ah I understand" Shai said
So this bitch only wanted a girl?
"Anyways I'm not surprised you escaped but...I'm glad you're back. Now meet your cousins" Her grandmother said as she opened the huge doors revealing the dining room. It was a huge table with two men only. Shai's eyes widen for a moment and sighed deeply
So these bastards...were with that bitch and Himeko huh? These fuckers will pay...hehe...they will all pay
"And uncle?" Shai asked
"Oh...sadly he passed away and so did his wife. Such a ashame isn't it? Now take a seat darling" Her grandmother said and snapped her fingers asking for a maid to pull put a chair for her
"Thank you" Shai said with her warm smile. The maid bowed down and walked away. Shai sat down and the butler served her meal
"Thanks" Shai said and her pet dog sat down beside her
"Anyways meet your cousins. Zeke Higashi and Taher Higashi. Boys meet your cousin Shai Higa-"
"Okogi. Shai Okogi" Shai said interrupting her
"My bad..." Her grandmother said. Shai looked at her glass and the butler poured some wine
"Hey grandmother...isn't she the psychopath from the mental hospital?" Zeke asked
"She sure looks like uncle Shailung..." Taher said and took a bite of his meal
"Grandmother...how about our aunt?" Zeke asked
"Oh...she passed away. Isn't that right Shai?" Her grandmother asked as she looked at her
"Yeah...she passed away. Suffering..." Shai said and grabbed the glass of wine
"Such ashame..." Her grandmother said and sighed deeply. Zeke and Taher looked at each other and looked at their meal
"Hey...I saw you both with two Momokinos right?" Shai asked
"Hm? You saw us?" Zeke asked
"We were with them...what a waste of time. Those Momokinos aren't intresting at all..." Taher said
"Especially the one with big ass eyebrows. Why does she keep them on? She should just shave it. It makes her look disgusting. Hahaha!" Zeke laughed
"It was so hard to hold in my laughter. Grandmother you have no idea how horrible that date went. I swear it was horrible. Thanks to them" Taher said
"Haha! I can't stop laughing!" Zeke said holding his stomach and laughed. Shai just had her head down looking at her glass of wine. She gritted her teeth and dropped the glass onto the floor breaking it which silenced the boys
"Shai what on earth were you thinking? Do you know how much that glass cost?" Her grandmother asked
"Hehehehe...you finally shut up" Shai said and stood up. She turned around and looked at her grandmother
"You stupid old hag...how fucking stupid..." Shai said and smiled
"Shai..sit down" Her grandmother said. Shai growled and glared at her. She snapped her fingers and the dogs inside the mansion began to bark and surround the table
"Sh-shai! What on earth are you doing!?" Her grandmother exclaimed
"I came here for revenge. My mother and grandmother never deserved to die like that....they never deserved to die! They never did anything wrong so why kill them!?" Shai exclaimed
"Isn't it obvious? For fun...watching them scream and cry in pain is very entertaining" Her grandmother said. Shai stood there for a moment and trembled
F-father was right...people hurt us because they enjoy seeing us cry in pain and enjoy to push us around like shit
"Hahahaha...hahahaha...entertaining!? You find it entertaining?! Hahahaha! I'll show you some entertainment!" Shai shouted and pulled out a knife then stood up at the table with her glowing blue eyes
"Now let the show...begin!" Shai laughed
