June looked out the window as she waited for Venom. She wondered why she was up there. Was he going to tell her more about her life? Set her free? Let her speak to Spot?

But why would she want that? Speaking to Spot I mean.

She worried for Race as well on how he tried to protect her. She had very mixed feelings for Harlem. Venom told her everything she needed to know, but on the other hand, they beat people up. She could still see poor Race's face.

"Juneeee" The door open and closed. June looked up and saw the Harlem kid, Venom. He had a smile on his face walking in. Was this good or bad?

"Now you're very lucky, Miss Conlon!" Venom bent down to her "None of those newsies down there won't be able to get this?"

"Get what?" She asked a bit scared what he was on about. He then called over his shoulder. "You can come in now!"

June looked over and gasped seeing who was behind it. She didn't know how to feel. Her brother stood there with a frowned face as Venom talked. Spot walked fully into the room, his thick accent spoke.

"Venom. You promised now get out!" Venom put his hands up and walked up away, looking back saying. "June, please tell your brother some manners next time!"

"I'll teach you some manners"

"And tell him to stop making threats!" Venom called out before closing the door behind him. As he did so Spot turned and went over to June. June was surprised to feel the big arms around her, giving her a warm hug. The sigh of relief from Spot knowing she was there.

But she didn't hug back.

"Are you ok?" Spot let go and placed her down. He went down to look at her face clearly. He made sure there wasn't any bruises or scratches. He would hate to see that on his sisters face.

"Spot, I'm fine!" June swatted his hands away before crossing her arms over. Spot nodded before it became silent. You could only hear the birds cherping and people walking down the street. It was an odd silence but it was broken by Spot saying "Thought you would want this!"

He handed her the red cardigan. June basically snatched it from him and placed it on. It almost felt like she was home again. Though was that a good thing? She hugged the warm wooly materiel close to her.

"Now, come on we need to get out of here" Spot grabbed her hand before heading to the door. Though, June's feet didn't move. They stood still. Spot thought she forgotten something so he turned. But only say the tears rolling down her face as she sniffled.

"June what's wrong?" He calmly asked "Was this Venom? God, wait till I get my hands on him-"

"It's not him!" June cried. She looked away from Spot for a bit. He gave a confused look before saying "June. What ever it is you need to tell me now or when we go to Brooklyn. But we really need to go"

"You!" She snapped and sniffled her nose. Spot had taken a step back, mentally, he looked at her.

"What's wrong?-"

"You want me to tell you what's wrong!?" She shouted at his face the tears rolling down "You lie! All the time! Why? It only does stupid stuff!"

"June, we need to go-"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THEY DIED!?"

Those words were the last thing Spot thought she would say. What he wanted her to say. His vocie was stuck in his throat for a second or two as his brain processed what she said. The breath he had picked up.

"How..how did you know?" He calmly asked. This shouldn't be the place to have this type of talk. Not when Harlem was here. Not when anybody was here.
