Their eyes glue to me,
As if staring will force me to disintegrate.
Disappear from their line of sight.
The skin they have never seen and won't ever accept.
Even if I was orange, red, or blue.
They'd never accept me.
Because I wasn't one of them from the start.
They say be confident in your differences,
But not if you're made to feel that your differences are unworthy of existing in the first place.
