you make me want to write sonnets,
about your eyes,
the loveliest shade of green,
an emerald forest hidden behind a mountain of lashes,
that look at me and all i feel is love,
so so much love,
filling me from the first hair on my head to the very bottom skin of my heel,
it runs through my veins like electricity,
your love is buzzing through me,
making my heart race and swell with pride,
and a smile forever etched onto my face
your eyes,
the greenest of all the fresh springs grass,
has me wanting to write sonnets,
and confess my undying love through a series of stanzas,
describing the way your eyes,
the glowing gems of a tangled jungle,
make my cheeks a rose,
dusted so lightly with pink,
a soft touch of blush,
from a loving look,
your eyes of viridity give me,
and once more i am left breathless,
lacking the oxygen needed to survive,
until your gaze meets mine again,
and you breathe it back into me,
giving me life and color.
that only you can supply me with.
