Weeks after we kiss, Sarah always finds an excuse to avoid me whenever I want to kiss her. She knows I begin to annoyed with her attitude.
"Are you okay?" Sarah ask me while we are having lunch together
No, I'm not okay.
"Yeah. Why you keep asking me that question?"
"Are you mad at me?"
So you notice huh?
"No, I'm not"
"Are you sure?"
No!
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?"
"Because you only agree to see me for lunch and you will leave after you finished your meal and you spend your whole night at the gym."
Because I don't wanna see you. Maybe...
"Exercise is good after a long tiring day and I need to keep my shape" I know I sound like an asshole but can you blame me?
"How can I make up to you?"
"No. You don't have too"
"But I want to"
"No. What is done, is done okay?"
"Arthur, I..." before she can say what she want to say someone is knocking
Knock knock
"Yeah come in," she said
"Reminder for the invitation Miss"
"Oh yes, thank you Dahlia" Dahlia left
"One of our company colleagues invites my parents to their son's wedding this weekend. But they still in Japan until Sunday so I'll go and my parents want you to come with me. Can you?"
"I don't know"
"Do you have any plan for the weekend?"
"Yeah I'm go fishing with friends on Saturday"
"Can you cancel it?"
"No. We've been planning this for a long time"
"Can you reschedule?"
"I don't know. Why? Is there something important you want me to go with you?"
"Actually yes"
"What is it?"
"It is in France. I thought maybe we can spend times together"
"I'll see what I can do" I texted my fishing buddies
Me: Ola amigos!
John: Comosta Arthur? (how are you, my friend)
Me: Tengo que cancelar este viaje :( (i have to cancel this trip)

Me: Lo siento amigos pero algo esta en casa (I'm so sorry guys but something is up at home)
"Didn't know you speak Spanish."
"There's still a lot of things you don't know about me"
"True" Sarah's answer between her phone call. "Yeah send him in"
"I have guest"
"Cool. I'll be leaving now"
"Why so hurry?" a man suddenly shows up in front of us
"Simon, how are you?" Sarah greets him. The way Sarah greets him is way beyond my liking. They seemed too close to me.
"Always the same. Is it you or just my eyes doing some trick on me? You look more beautiful than last time we meet" this Simon flirt and I can see that Sarah's blushing when Simon kiss her hand.
"It just your eyes I believe. How is your flight?"
"Good. I see you got a company. I can come back later when you are not busy"
"No. Not at all. We just finished our lunch."
"And I'm about to leave" Sarah didn't say anything like she really doesn't want me here. When that man is about to respond to my excuses, Dalton, my secretary call.
"Sir, Ms. Adeline Romanov's calling"
"Did she say anything?"
"No Sir. But she demands to talk to you. I've told her that you are out and have another appointment so she can leave a message but she said this is important and want to talk to you alone."
"Did she leave a number?"
"Yes, she did. Do you want me to send it to you?"
"Yes send it to me. I'll call her myself"
"Will do Sir"
"Who's that?" Sarah ask me when I hang up the phone.
"Dalton. There's a client who wants to talk to me" I say and collect my stuff. Sarah is about saying something but before she can say anything, Dalton's name show up on my phone screen again,
"Sir, Mr. Royals senior is calling. He said dinner at home tonight and hope you and Miss Sarah can make it on-time"
When I told Sarah what my dad wants, she said, "I can't. I'm going out with Simon tonight."
Oh Wow! that's sound so not right in my ears. I didn't look at her when I mumble "yeah okay" and talk to Dalton again while I walking to the door.
"Tell my father Sarah is not coming tonight. She's going out with her friend"
"Yes sir, and I have sent you Miss Romanov's number. Oh, I forgot to tell you one more thing. Ms.Romanov said you have to call her today because it's really important"
"Really? She really doesn't say anything else?"
"No Sir, she refused to tell me what it is about"
"Okay. You do the round without me and keep update me with the company progress. And tell my father I couldn't make it too"
"Will do, Sir. Please take care, Sir"
"Thanks, Dalton"I hang up the phone and found Sarah is looking with her suspicious eyes.
"What?"
"Nothing," she said.
I call Adeline as I walk to the door but before I can open it, Sarah holds me and try to introduce me to Simon but I keep holding my phone showing I'm on call, actually, I just not interested at all. Besides, don't you think it's a little bit too late to introduce your "fiancee" when he is about to leave?
"Hey, Adel. It's me, Arthur. Dalton said you were looking for me?"
"Yes. I have something to discuss with you and it's important. Can we meet up at my coffee shop near your apartment?"
"Yeah, of course. I'll see you in 15?"
"Okay" and she hangs up the phone.
"Look, I gotta go now. It's a pleasure to meet you. Enjoy your day here" I say to both of them and walk out the door.
