(^ that's Ethan! The artist who drew him was lovelessletters- ! Her art is absolutely amazing!)

Back to Gravy's POV:

I laugh as Ethan and I sing along horribly to Katy Perry's old music. It was always one of our favorite things to do while in the car. Bring up some oldies and rock out to them.

I pull into my mom's driveway, shutting the car off and helping Ethan out of the car, "hey, go inside, I'll get the bags."

I had taken him to Game Stop, a really old video game shop. We got games for his PS6 and posters of his favorite video game, 'Flint: Become Alien.' It was an oddly developed game but from what he's told me, it's very neatly set out and the visuals are insanely good.

We had only been gone for maybe three hours, which is not a lot of time to spend with him but I wanted to see my mom too. I was definitely going to make plans to come see them again.

I hit my trunk shut with my elbow and walked up to the front door, opening it and setting the bags on the table.

Mom and Conan were nowhere to be found.

"Conan?" I called, starting to head towards where I heard laughter. I went down the hall and saw light leaking out from... my old bedroom.

"In here, Gav," he called back, a happy tone settling in his voice.

"Oh my gosh," I walk in and see them going through my sophomore yearbook book. "Are you kidding me?" My ears burn with embarrassment.

He smiles up at me, a smile I've never seen before. A bright, beautiful smile. My heart pounds against my chest and I see myself start to smile too.

"I'll leave you guys to this then," I chuckle, "don't worry, Co, I have dirt on you too. Don't think I don't. Just because you're an android doesn't mean shit."

I really didn't have anything on him but the face he gives me is one that makes me laugh. I shake my head and walk out, grabbing the bags and heading back towards Ethan's room.

"Hey E, here's your games," I set them on the bed, walking over towards where he's sitting at his desk.

"Thanks Gravy, I really enjoy hanging out with you. You need to come see us more often."

"I'll try, kiddo, but work has me beat. It's gotten easier with Conan though."

"You seem to really like him," he says and I smile, picking at his bedding.

"Yeah, he's a good partner and friend," I say, not mentioning the times Conan's slept in my bed with me or taken care of me when I was being stupid.

"Are you sure he's just a friend? Mom was already showing him baby photos."

I hit the back of his head, "of course he's just a friend. What else would he be? He's an android."

"So? ...ah, never mind," he smiles and turns towards his desk.

I squint my eyes, glaring at the back of his head, "'So' what?"

"Just because he's an android doesn't mean he can't be something more," he states and stands up, walking out of the room.

Something more? I'm going to kill that kid.
