Hey guys! Sorry for the slip up! I accidentally skipped a chapter number, that's just me. Thanks! I hope you like it! Comment and vote!
"Welcome to Briarsridge Annual Show! As we a should know, third place will receive a BriarsRidge saddle pad and a leather halter." Gasps from riders. "Second place will receive two saddle padfs and a halter and lead set." More gasps from the crowd, and me.?" First place will receive a trophy, halter and lead set, and a BriarsRidge saddle pad." OMG! We applauded, and placings for classes started. We would get an official lesson from our dorm leaders when we were put in groups. I hoped I hadn't looked too bad.
"And the last rider for the intermediate team is Julie Smith." Julie, a pretty blonde, and the girl I had met before, walked up onstage and took her ribbon and her intermediate team jacket. The advanced team jackets for BriarsRidge were navy blue with gold lettering. "Advanced team placings are: Brandon Tellhark, Callie Marstrop, Allison Caugnet, Sophie Walker, Erica Cherry, Nicole Marstrop, Scarlett Cooper, and Adam Lakes." OMG I had made it!" These riders will not only be riding for the advanced team, but also for our IEA team, as well as selective shows and many riding feild trips." We all stepped onstage to receive our navy blue ribbons and jackets. OMG OMG OMG OMG!! Brandon and I high-fived. Yes! Now all I needed was my own horse..... Oh well. We listened for placings. I did happen to receive first, although I wish I hadn't. Those girls with the purple shirts were seething. That made it all better.
When we arrived back at the dorm, I took a look around my room. So much for groceries. Anyways, I cleaned up, and instantly fell asleep, dreaming of the perfect horse for me.
