Unforgotten Past

The cool metal pressed into Silv's back. She was currently hanging in the loft. Well, she called it the loft. It was just a giant metal beam close to the roof. Silverwolf sighed. It was 10 am and sleep refused to come. With another sigh she rolled over and off the beam. She wasn't worried. She'd trained all of her life, just for stunts like this. It was only a six or seven foot drop to the hard, unforgiving concrete ground. She landed quietly and glanced around to make sure no one was awake or around. You never knew who randomly got the mid-day munchies. Most of the time, it was Leia. Silv's heart panged with guilt. She hadn't been there to protect her sister.... Silverwolf took one last sniff at the air and glanced around cautiously before letting her body fully relax. Her body began to move on it's own. It understood what she wanted to do. She didn't have to think. The movements were

familiar. She was a machine. A grim reaper. A dealer of death and gambler of souls. Her body was fluid as she went through all of the fighting styles she'd been taught over the years. Then she was running. This movement was familiar. But old. Almost forgotten.

She wasnt running because of fear, pain, or sorrow. She was happy. Pawsteps followed behind her and she spun to face her brothers. Her tiny, fluffy tail wagged and the hot, dry air felt good against her thick, soft fur. Waddle and Grunt tumbled over each other, nipping ears playfully and yapping happily. Waddle untangled himself from the bundle and stared at her. His face was round, his eyes bright, and his ears were floppy from young age. Squeak smiled as Grunt stood next to their brother, his sea foam blue eyes contrasting against Waddle's deep brown ones. "Why'd you stop, Squeak?" Waddle tilted his head. She grinned happily. Her heart felt full. She pounced into them, "I missed you so much!" She nuzzled their noses. A symbol of hugs and kisses in her pack. Grunt looked at her confused, "but we've been together since birth. How can you miss us?" Squeak's tail wagged furiously. Then

her blood ran cold, turning her body to ice despite the heat. The steady pumping of pistons and clicking of gears as they turned approached. Squeak looked at her brother's wide eyed. "Run!" she yelled before turning to face the robot. He was so tall compared to her puppy size. Yet, she'd dealt with years of training. With a growl she lunged.

And then she stopped. She had Leo pinned with her claws raised and she somehow had a dagger. Her eyes widened as she realized how lost in her training she had been. She jumped back immediately, scared that she could've hurt the turtle. He kept Leia more sane than she could ever hope and he was beginning to rub off on her. She looked up to him almost like she had her own brothers. And she had almost hurt him. Leo was frozen with shock and fear. Silv's body shook with her own mixture of shock, fear, and adrenaline. "wlWhat the hell happened?" She let her head hang low and tried to speak, "f-flashbacks..." His shock began to fade, "oh." It took the jackal several minutes to calm and recover from such a vivid flashback. She's never had one like that before. What if it happened too often and she attacked someone else? What if she didn't stop or realize in time to stop...? This thought made

her blood even more icy then during the flashback. "No wonder I hear you moving up and about half the time," Leo chuckled and his posture relaxed. How in everloving hell was he taking this so well?! She nodded and looked down in shame. So much for being a great guest.... "I'm sorry about that. I didn't hurt you, did I?" her voice broke a few times and felt unnatural on her tongue. Leo shook his head, "nah. I understand. I have nightmares sometimes and they cause me to lash out...." He sucked in a breath and his eyes glazed over for a second. She immediately understood. He dealt with the same problems and they definitely caused him some pain. Silverwolf sighed, "yeah. It sucks. I was defending my brothers from the Kraang. Which.... you happened to be for gods knows how long...." He nodded then paused. "you have brothers?" Her ears flattened and her eyes began to sting, "I used to have

brothers...." His eyes widened. "Oh... so that's what Leia meant..... That actually explains a lot of things." The following silence was poisonously awkward. "Y'know what... I promised I'd never do this outside of my shelter, which I thought was perfectly hidden until Mikey found me, but I'm gonna go grab my eatables." Leo looked at her confused until she came back. He looked at the innocent looking treats she came back with. She took one out and ate it. "They're weed muffins, in case your dumbass didn't know." She clicked on the tv and let it play some background music. Leo looked at the muffins then shrugged. It's probably not a good idea to do this, but he never cared for good ideas unless it was his training and his missions. He grabbed one then ate it.

Not long after that, Raph and Donnie had woken up and stumbled out to see two ridiculously laughing mutants watching some silly cartoons. "This cartoon is so good!" Silv snorted with laughter

and Raph looked at her funny. Since when did the jackal act like this? Then he and Donnie saw the packet of muffins. Donnie caught on right away, but Raph, being Raph, decided to try a bite. Bad idea. Leo looked at the muffins and giggled like a highschool girl, such a godly sight, "they look like broccoli." Silverwolf's laughter grew worse at this comment.

When Mikey woke up, he saw Silverwolf, Leo, Raph, and Donnie sitting around the tv, laughing and chatting like children. Completely confused and dumbfounded, he stumbled groggily to Leia's room. "Hey Leia?" he knocked and he heard her shift slightly as she woke up. "I think something's wrong with the others...." He heard a groan from the other side of the door and some shuffling about. She opened the door, an unimpressed look on her face.

"What'd Leo do now?" Leia said as she rolled out of her room, down the ramp and into the living room. It truly was a sight.

The three brothers were laughing histrically, as Sliverwolf rolled on the ground in her jackal form. Like a dog trying to shake out water from its fur.

Mikey gulped and looked over to Leia. "What is wrong with them?" Leia glanced at the crums of muffens that was scattered on the plates. She groaned "You idoits one of these things makes you high for hours. What where you thinking?!" She said in a harse voice as Mikey leaned over "What are they?"

"Muffins, Mikey. Muffins." Leo stumbled over to her, he couldnt walk streight. "I love you! Hey guys look it's my girlfriend she is so pretty....Can I take a trip on your ride." Leia became confused and very shocked as Leo's grin seemed to grow "What?"

"Your wheels, can I take them for a spin." He said putting his leg on the arm rest like a girl trying to get laid, Leia laughed in annoyance. "You. Want to ride? On my wheel chair?" Leo mumbled something and nodded as Leia groaned.

"Leo how many muffins did you have." Random numbers began to shout threw the lair. The highest number being 12. Leia glanced around and face palmed herself.

Mikey who smiled nervously at his agatiaed sister. Leia grabbed his hand "Mikey, never be as stupid as them." She was cut off as Leo was talking/Yelling to Silverwolf  "Do you see that!" Silverwolf nodded with an insane smile on her face. "YES. I SEE IT! WE NEED IT." They began to chase it around the lair. Leia glanced as they chased the light that shined through the surface around like cats chasing after lazers.

Mikey smirked "Hay! Dumbass." Both Leo and Silverwolf turned there heads  seeming to respond to the nickname. Leia paused then smirked evily "I have idea."

5 hours later, the 3 turtles, and 1 mutant were laying around the lair with a headsplitting headace. Silverwolf had grumbly walked into her and leias room, trying to get away from the turtles. Leia and Mikey had brought out Raphs drums, with pots and pans from the kitchen. And all the loud things they could find. Splinter was next to them smileing gentally. Mikey glance at Master Splinter "Are you sure this is the right thing to do Sensei?"

Sensai chuckled "Michangelo, sometimes the best punishment. Is the consequences of your actions." Mikey smirked eagerly as he gribbed Raphs drum sticks tighter. Leia plugged in the stereo system into the gutier and drums. She turned it up all the way, to the point it was able to be heard through out the lair.

Leia glanced and set the timer as they all put on Donnies Block Out Sound (BOS) head phones. They glanced at each other Leia holding a microphone, Mikey with the drums, and Sensai with the guitar.

They mouthed to each other "1, 2, 123" and played blasting music in their family's ears. Through out the lair you could hear the moans and crys of turtles and companions. And 3 very happy smartass mutants.
