The S-Rank Trials

It was a few months after the Edolas incident and I was not ready for the next arc in the series but I did not have much of a choice. One morning when me and Wendy were at the guild hall, we saw a lot of guild members grabbing jobs.

"Why is everyone in a rush today?", Wendy asked. "It's getting close to when the S-Rank Trials will begin", Erza said walking over to us, "A curtain number of wizards will be chosen to enter this trial. And those who pass will become S-Rank Wizards.". "Wow I wonder if I was chosen", I said. "Not likely, you would have had to be here for at least a year", Erza said. Then Macorav stood on the stage and was ready to make an announcement.

"Hello everyone, thank you for being here today. I am ready to tell you who I have chosen for the S-Rank trials. I have chosen, Natsu, Gray, Levi, Freed, Cana, Mest, Elfman, and Juvia". Everyone else let out a disappointed groan. "You have 2 weeks to prepare, good luck", Macorav said.

2 weeks had then passed and everyone had chosen their partner. Here are the teams. Natsu and Happy. Cana and Lucy. Juvia and Lisanna, Elfman and Evergreen, Gray and Loke, Levi and Gajeel, Freed and Bigslow, and finally Mest and Wendy.

They all got on the boat and sailed off for Tenrou Island. Other members were not allowed to go with so I stayed back. However I knew what would happen on that island during the trials. Grimwire Heart, a dark guild, would attack and almost wipe everyone out. They would then be trapped there for 7 years. I was not going to wait 7 years so I decided to call Nakamora. "Hey, we are going to the island. Do you think you can fly that far?", I asked. "I don't know, I've never gone that distance", he said. "Alright I'll give you a little boost", I said. He then picked me up and we started flying. I used my Aether to boost the speed.

I then saw clouds start to form above us. 'This is not good', I thought. We arrived at the island and saw the giant ship landed on the ground. I then saw Wendy and everyone else about to run in to fight Hades. Crap I've got to get down there. We flew down right in front of them. "Is everyone alright?", I asked. "Where did you come from and why are you here", Lucy asked. "I decided I wanted to watch the trial from the air but I got a bad feeling and sure enough this happened", I said. "Well you're just in time to help us fight Hades", Natsu said. "Alright, let's do this", I said.

We ran in and saw Hades sitting on his throne. "Well, Macorav's little children have come to stop me, how amusing", Hades said. "Your going to pay for what you did to master Macorav", Erza yelled. Hades then got up from his throne. "Well let's see what you can do", Hades said.

Natsu and Gray dashed forward and tried to punch Hades but was stopped due to the white chains Hades shot from his hands. Erza then summoned a sword and slashed at Hades. He easily dodged it and countered with a strong punch. Now Natsu, Gray, and Erza were on the ground. Lucy summoned Scorpio and he then shot a giant blast of sand out of his cannon. Hades easily avoided it and shot back with a blast from his finger. Scorpio then was sent back to the Celestial World. Hades then shot a chain at Lucy hand hit her right in the stomach. Now it was just me and Wendy.

"Wendy, can you boost my speed?", I asked. She nodded and cast her spell, "O swift winds that speed through the heavens, Vernier!" I suddenly feel a lot lighter and ran towards Hades. He shot a chain at me but I dodged it. 'This is incredible, I'm so fast', I thought. I then threw a punch and this time it hit. However he did not flinch and was not moved. He then slapped me and I was sent flying back to where Wendy was healing the others. "Your being troublesome... you shall now die a quick and painless death", Hades said while putting his hand up facing it towards Wendy. 'Wait... No!!!!!', I thought. I had realized what happened in the manga and anime, but since I was here, the way this would turn out could be different. I ran to Wendy and reached out my hand. She reached out hers but by then it was to late. She vanished before my eyes and all that was left was her clothes laying on the ground. Everything then went black.
