The Guild Featival

Now I used the song lyrics to Hikaru Nara by Goosehouse. I do not own the song or the lyrics. I'm using the song for a fun little story. Again I do not own the song or its lyrics. Thank you and enjoy.

So apparently the guilds Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, and Blue Pegasus, had a special event. It was called the Guild Festival. It celebrates the founding of the guilds. Neither Wendy nor me were here for the last one. From what Lucy told me about it, it was a festival that had a lot of food, games, and at the end, would have a special event that was different every festival. In the last festival, they had the senior members sing for everyone who showed up.

Now here is where the problems started. This festival, it was decided that the younger members of the guild would be singing. However it was optional. Romeo was lucky and decided to not do it. But Chelia had already confirmed that Wendy, Myself, and herself, would sing. One problem was that I could not sing at all. I was horrible at singing and my voice was just not made for singing. Another problem was that I had major stage fright. So... thanks Chelia....

Again there were two problems. One, we had to choose the song and rehearse it a lot. And second, we would be doing this without the lyrics in front of us and we would be in front of everyone from the three guilds. So no pressure.

"Alright, so what song should we sing?", Chelia asked. "How should I know, I didn't even want to do this", I said. "Come on Draco, it will be fun", Wendy said. "And I know you will be happy with singing on stage next to two cute girls", Chelia said. "Well I can confirm that only one of you is cute", I said. "Oh, thank you Draco", Chelia said. "I was talking about Wendy", I said. Wendy covered her face. "Wow Draco, I ship you two even more now", Chelia said.

"Damnit, I try to make a comeback but I always end up with it backfiring", I said. "Okay fine, let's stop talking about this and move onto the song. Any ideas?", Chelia asked. We sat there for a minute until I realized something. 'I'm from another world that was full of songs that no one here has ever heard of', I thought. "Alright, I have one", I said. "What is it?", Wendy asked. "It's a song that I like. It's called Hikaru Nara", I said.

For the rest of the day, we were rehearsing the lyrics. It came easy to me since I had been listening to it for a while. Wendy and Chelia on the other hand, took a bit to get it down. "Alright, I think we've got it. What do you think Wendy?", Chelia asked. "I think I've got it", Wendy said. "Okay, so we sing this at the festival tonight", Chelia said.

At The Festival

We had gotten to the festival a little early so we could prepare everything. However we still had a while until it was time to sing. So we decided to play some of the games. We had found a target range game and there were prizes of a little white stuffed dog. "Aw, it's so cute", Wendy said. I decided to try and win it for her. I handed the person there a few jewel and he let me choose my weapon to use. There were options from guns and bows to axes and throwing knives. I decided to use the bow since that was usually my weapon of choice for long ranged attacks.

There were 8 moving targets and you only got 8 arrows. If you missed even one, you lost. I focused and shot all 8 at the same time. Each arrow hit a bullseye. The person working the game handed me the stuffed dog and I gave it to Wendy. "Thank you Draco", Wendy said happily. "No problem", I said smiling. Now I should have known that Chelia would get jealous and would want me to win her something as well.

We found a game where they had a stuffed panda as the prize. The game involved someone with a marble, and putting it under one of three cups. They would shuffle them around and you had to guess which one of the cups the marble was under. Now I had seen a lot of people cheat out their customers by switching the marbles into their sleeves and moving it into another cup. However I had a counter for this. I could use my Aether to sense where it was.

I sat down and payed the woman who shuffled the cups. "You only get one shot", she said. "Fine by me", I said. She got a smirk on her face and hid the marble underneath the middle cup. She started to shuffle but her hands were moving really fast. I could no longer keep up with what it was under. When she stopped, I looked into each cup to see that it was not under any of them. I saw the marble hidden in her sleeve. Just as I thought. "The marble is not under any of the cups. It is in your sleeve", I said. She had a shocked, but impressed look on her face. "Impressive kid", she said, "Here you go, one stuffed panda". I took the panda and gave it to Chelia. "Thank you so much Draco", Chelia said. "No problem", I said smiling.

It was getting late and we had to go on stage soon. We got to the stage and were waiting in the back room for them to call us out. As we sat there, both Wendy and Chelia noticed that I was really nervous about this. "Hey Draco, don't be nervous, this will be fun. Just don't think of everyone out there. Just think of me and Wendy. Focus on everything on the stage. And sing the song in your heart", Chelia said. "A little cliche don't you think?" I asked. "I think it's nice", Wendy said. We were then called on stage. We walked outside to see everyone cheering. '....Here we go...', I thought.

Now we all had different parts for when we would sing. And I had already set up the music, so all we had to do, was sing. My heart was beating a mile a second. Chelia nudged me with her elbow and mouthed, Relax and focus on the stage. The music started to play and we got ready to sing.

Chelia: Ameagari no niji mo. Rin to saita hana mo. Irozuki afuredasu.

Her voice was beautiful and was better than I could do. But now it was my part. I swallowed my fear and started to sing.

Draco: Akane-iro no sora. Aogu kimi ni, ano hi, koi ni ochita.

Now it was the part where each one of us would have our own line. Chelia was a good at singing, but Wendy was on a completely different level

Chelia: Shunkan no DORAMACHIKKU.

Wendy: FIRUMU no naka no hito-koma mo

Draco and Wendy: Kienai yo, kokoro ni kizamu kara.

Now was the chorus. And all of us sang together.

Chelia and Wendy and Draco: Kimi da yo kimi nanda yo, oshiete kureta. Kurayami mo hikaru nara, hoshizora ni naru. Kanashimi wo egao ni, mou kakusanai de. Kirameku donna hoshi mo, kimi wo terasu kara.

Chelia and Wendy: Nigirishimeta sono kibou mo fuan mo.

Chelia and Wendy and Draco: Kitto futari wo ugokasu, hikari ni naru kara.

Fireworks started to go off and the crowd started cheering and clapping. We waved to everyone before walking back to the back room. I felt really dizzy and quickly sat down. "You have a really good singing voice", Wendy said. "Yeah Draco, you did a really good job", Chelia said. "Thanks, you two did amazing too", I said.

"Now Chelia, don't get me wrong, this was really fun. But next time can you please ask us before you sign us up for something?" I asked. "Sure, I promise", Chelia said while she secretly crosses her fingers behind her back. And with that, the Guild Festival had ended.
