It's been hard, people are dying on the streets, famine is starting, I'm worried for myself and my family.
The war in the trenches is still going on, I thought we would have won by now, but my father and Older brother are still fighting. I don't know if they're dead or not, since me and my mother haven't gotten any letters from them, I am very worried, but I hope they are okay.
I hope they're alive and well, and have made good decisions.
My mother isn't talking, as usual, she's certain that one of them has died, I keep telling her there's nothing to worry about, that they are smart and skilled.
But even if they aren't dead, they might still be injured, badly.
I was so sure that the war would have been over by now, that we would have our great victory, like everyone said, like my father said.
I went to the market today, It was very unpleasant, this old man was very rude, telling me the Germans will win and I'll be killed, such a rude old man. I didn't find any fresh food as well.
I must go, for now.
