𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐒𝐄𝐍 had an easy childhood. That's where it started. Her roots. She had a stable childhood. Her parents, Anne and Joel Poulsen met in kindergarten and started dating in middle school. They only dated each other throughout their whole lives
and got married right after. She and her older brother, Daniel are close
and rarely ever fought. She made great friends in elementary school
that she has to this day. She grew up in a rich Rhode Island suburbs where life was never hard.

Until she went down the medical field path. Grace decided to become a nurse, starting
with her at Brown University, right in her backyard,
and then graduating with a degree in Nursing.
Then, acing her NCLEX-RN and getting her nursing license.
She had never left her environment until she finally popped the bubble she was living in
and began her training at Seattle Grace and became a surgical nurse.

After being there for close to five years, Grace, nervously, faults her way into someone interesting.
A plastic surgeon who has been sleeping with all her co-workers,
most of whom are her friends.
She ignored him explaining away that she was just his next, dare she say, "victim."
Until he proved her wrong.
