Shorter never meant to get caught up the way he did. He just wanted a different life away from all the gang activities and that so happened to be with Y/N. What happens when Y/N finally finds out? How was such a man suited for the things he did?

"I'm back bitch!" You shouted as you walked into her flat.
"Finally!" Aubrey quickly grabbed a drink from the sack. The two of you finished most of the case of drinks. The snacks were gone as well.
"Are you wearing that out?" Aubrey's face scrunched up in distaste.
"No..." you looked down at yout outfit. It was an oversized t-shirt and capri pants with some Nike slides.
"Good I was worried for a second, you should go change it's almost time to leave." With that you shuffled off to the bathroom to change. You wore a white and red striped shirt tucked into a black jean skirt with fishnets and red docs.
"You look cute, oh let me do your makeeuupp~" Aubrey pleaded, but since she was tipsy as fuck you opted out and did it yourself. You went for a natural look with highlight and a red lip tint.
"Let's go kid."
~Time skip~
"This is the place right?" You asked Aubrey who was touching up her lipstick in the mirror. She glanced at the house and nodded before stepping out. It was a house off the highway and from where the cars were parked you could see the highway below.
The house seemed run down and graffiti littered the sides. It was only 8 and it seemed to be popping off already. The music blasting so loud that you could hear it clearly from where you stood.
You followed after Aubrey and instantly she was greeting multiple people. She had obviously been there before. Aubrey made her way to a guy holding a 40. He smiled big and embraced her picking her up from the floor.
"Austin, this is my friend Y/N, Y/N this is Austin he lives here." You gave him a small wave and looked around a bit before speaking.
"Is it always like this?" You questioned.
"Yeah all the time babe. We host a party about 3 times a week Friday to Sunday!" He beamed throughing his arm around your shoulder.
"I can be your party guide for the night." He winked. You looked to Aubrey before she grabbed you herself.
"She's coming with me tonight so run along and tend to your party." She said pointing to a guy streaking around the living room.
"Sorry about him he's a real flirt likes to get into your pants and bounce."
"It's cool." You let her drag you off to a group of people you looked at the walls where multiple holes littered them. Above said holes laid provactive words and glory hole. You cringed at the thought of it.
You were once with Aubrey but suddenly she wasn't at your side until you spotted chatting with some tall blond. Probably another person she knew. You walked up to them and noticed his sharp emerald green eyes.
"Oh this is my friend Y/N that I was talking about." You nodded your head towards him.
"Ash." He spoke taking a sip of his drink. Aubrey gave you a look. You knew all to well what it meant as this unspoken communication was common between you two. She was going to try and go home with this guy and basically leave you all alone.
"Well im going to get something to drink." You lied and began turning away when you bumped into someone.
"Ah I'm so sorry!" You exclaimed looking up to the person. It was in fact that guy you ran into today at the store.
"Oh you're the girl from the store, so you do have manners!" He smiled still wearing those sunglasses despite being inside.
"I- uh yeah sorry about that...I was in a bit of a bad mood." You rubbed your right arm.
"It's chill we all have our days. Are you here alone?"
"I'm here with my friend but she seems interested in that guy over there." You looked back their direction.
"Oh I'm not surprised Ash is pretty popular with both dudes and chicks," He informed you.
"I'm Shorter by the way and you are?"
"Y/N."
You ended up hanging with shorter in the kitchen where there was less people. Just occasionally someone popping in for a drink. You got a text from Aubrey.

"So Aubrey left...I think with Ash or something." Just as you said that Ash walks in tossing his empty cup into the trash.
"I thought you said your friend was with Ash?"
"I've been alone for awhile. Once she saw I wasn't down for anything like that she left." Ash took a seat next to Shorter.
