Chapter 3

A Few Hours Later*

Carol's POV*

The Nova Corps arrived with a freighter.

Nova Prime and her men exited the ship and took Yon and the rest of the ships occupants prisoner.

(Y/N) and I stood up and walked over to Nova Prime.

Nova Prime said "Good work, Carol.".

I said "Thanks. Nova Prime, this is (Y/N), (Y/N) this is Nova Prime.".

Nova Prime extended a hand to (Y/N).

(Y/N) shyly took Nova Prime's hand and they shook hands.

After they let go I asked "Nova Prime can I and (Y/N) help you transfer the prisoners?".

Nova Prime said "Sure, extra hands are welcomed.".

I walked with Nova Prime and (Y/N) to the ship.

After we got on the ship we went through a couple spacial jumps before ending up at Xandar and we landed by The Nova Corps Headquarters.

On Xandar*

When we got to Xandar I was helping with the processing and transfering of prisoners including Yon.

(Y/N) shyly asked "What should I do, Carol?".

I gave her some credits and said "You should go into town, and try buying yourself some new clothes.".

(Y/N) shyly asked "Why?".

I said "Well you need clothes besides the ones I give you.".

She took a minute but nodded and walked off.

I smiled seeing her walk off on her own.

I turned my attention to the prisoners being loaded into a ship headed for The Kiln.

(Y/N)'s POV*

I walked through the streets of Xandar looking for a clothing store.

When I finally found one I stepped inside.

A nice store clerk lady asked "Hello, how can I help you to day Miss?".

I shyly said "I um... I need some new clothes.".

She asked "Well what kind of clothes are you looking for?".

I poked my fingers together and shyly said "I want to... um... attract someones attention.".

She excitedly asked "Ooh! Tell me all about it. Is it a guy or a gal?".

I nervously said "It's... a... girl.".

She excitedly asked "Ooh! What's she like?".

She took a seat on a couch and gestured me to sit down.

I took a seat after a moment.

I shyly said "She's uh... Courageous, Brave, Helpful... Powerful, and very Beautiful.".

The store clerk said "Wow! She sounds pretty special.".

I nodded and looked down and said "She really is.".

The store clerk stood up super fast which made me flinch.

She turned to me and excitedly said "I have a few selections in mind for you! Wait right there and I'll go pick them out for you!".

She sped off leaving me alone on the stores couch.

A Few Minutes Later*

She piled up a bunch of clothes for me to try on.
