"No," Jungkook shakes his head, breaking out of his haze and grabs hold of my hand that was still rested on his shoulder. I felt a weird sensation jolting and quickly pull away. It's like he fucking shocked me with a wet toaster.
"Who is she?" Lisa asks.
"How the fuck would I know?" Jungkook sneers. "Do you want to go and find out?"
And again, he's being a butthole. "None of us are going, just run the bitch over," I say. If she wasn't human then it didn't matter. Jungkook was the only person who saw her anyway, it's on his conscience now.
Jungkook revs his engine and it makes these expensive ass noises I've never heard, he then speeds through the trail like a blazing fire. He slows down when he no longer sees anything in his rear view mirror.
"We're good. She's no longer-"
The car starts sputtering. The lights shut off and it doesn't move, not even when Jungkook tries to push to start a thousand times. Everyone's in panic mode except for Jin.
"Holy shit, we're gonna die!" Lisa cries hysterically. She takes a paper bag out of her purse and starts blowing it frantically. In and out, in and out. Nothing seems to be easing her anxiety. She starts fanning herself.
Jin is sitting there taking everything in. He still looks like he doesn't believe us but I can tell he's starting to get worried since we're stranded. I could only imagine how he felt coming out and doing such nonsense with his juniors.
Jungkook's given up and as thrown himself over his steering well in defeat. He's highly annoyed and I can sense his fear growing. That's saying a lot for a guy who spends the majority of his time pulling dangerous stunts for the fun of it.
Jimin is... well, let's not go there. He, along with Lisa, are both having a mental breakdown. I was now a hundred percent sure that they shared the same brain cells.
"Fuck fuck fuck," I say beneath my breath. I unlock the door and get out, Jin quickly follows behind me. We look around and there's nothing for miles, no lighting no nothing.
"There's a light up ahead," he points west.
There is.
I walk over to the drivers side and open the door. "There's something up ahead, I think if we walk we can get there."
Jungkook doesn't look pleased with the idea but he gives in anyway. It wasn't like any of us had a choice. It was getting late and the car was gorgeous but it wasn't beautiful enough for us to have our back aching over the night. Everyone gathers their bags and we start trudging through the field, following the only light visible for miles.
Jin leads us and I walk next to him, taking every step with him.
"When this is over, we should go on a date," he says. I can see the smile of his pearly whites despite being in such darkness.
I can feel my heart racing. The ultimate girl in me was so happy that I'd be going on my very first date with the cutest guy in school. I wasn't sure what I did in my previous life to deserve such a blessing.
"Yes, I'd like that," I say as I look up at him.
Jin then takes my hand and holds it. My heart flutters even more !!!! DjskajjnHJohHgyYhoOjn!&&:&/&!hsjjHgIsnns
I can't believe I'm holding hands with my dream boy!
Jungkook bumps into me, nearly knocking me over as he takes the lead of the group. He walks alone, the awkward tension following along with him. He kicks whatever rocks come in his path. What the fucks with him?
I brush off my shoulder with my free hand.
We make it to the source of the lighting an hour later. It's an inn. When we arrived, it started getting foggy to the point where we could no longer see where we came from. There's no sound and the only thing we could hear was the howling of whatever lurked in the forests we passed. The floor is wet and muddy as we approach the front steps.
Jungkook knocks on the door and an old lady appears before us moments later. She's dressed in an old fashioned nightgown that looked like it'd been through a war and back, covered by a thick shawl. Her wrinkles are rigorous and her hair is fragile, an obvious sign of her old age. Though her appearance makes her out to be brittle, I knew she'd be a mean one.
"A room for two, please," Jimin holds up a peace sign followed by a cheeky grin.
The lady scowls at him and then the rest of us before opening the door open for us to enter. There's a loud thud when she closes it. She spends a great deal locking it back up.
The lady takes us to the front desk and we take care of our expenses. "No funny business," she says.
"Funny business?" I chuckle. I wasn't catching her drift.
"No loud noises, no distractions, and certainly..." she looks between all of us. "No sex."
Jimin accidentally drops his keys in response.
"We weren't planning on it," I assure her.
Lisa and I head to our rooms and the boys to theirs. I felt sad having to part with Jin. But I felt safe knowing that he'd be right next door if I ever needed anything. Just as we reached our doors, I stop to glance over at the boys having trouble getting in their rooms. Jimin is fumbling with the key and it isn't opening no matter how hard he jams it in. Jungkook pushes him over and attempts to turn it and finally gets it open, then hitting Jimin's head afterwards.
Jin turns around and looks at me. Our eyes meet.
Wow.
