Name: Ningyo
Gender: Female
Origin: Japan
Hair: black. Goes down between the Shoulder blades. Covers half her face.
Eyes: white irises and usually cries.
Ears: pointy with tiny spheres on the end like those little sea monkeys.
Appearance: usually cries. Scaly upper body with a smooth gold fish tail. Light skin. Sharp horns. Ears which look like sea monkey ears. Largedorsal fin which is see through. Has a monkey's mouth which is covered by her hair.
Tail: a goldfish tail which has see-through fins on the sides of the waist, a see-through fin of the left side of halfway down the tail and a see-through fin on the end of the tail. The fins are very flexible.
Clothes: cloth-like shirt with a howlite decoration on the belly and the end of the shirt. Golden pendent with sapphires embedded in it.
Personality: Gloomy and caring
Abilities: eternal youth. Can bring misfortune.
Info: Vastly different than the western version of the beautiful Mermaid, this monster found in Japanese folklore is described as a giant fish with a human face and a monkey's mouth and Sometimes even horns and fangs. In serious conflict of interest, anyone who eats the Ningyo will have eternal youth and beauty but catching one often brings terrible storms, and misfortune to entire villages.
