I was sitting in my cell writing some new music when one of the female security guards that always flirts with me came over to me. Nicki's POV
Ms.Lisa called and told me she missed Kairi. I packed her an overnight bag and dropped her off before I went back home to get ready for tonight with Omari. Once I got back home, I went through my closet trying to find something to wear. I get in the shower and do my hair/makeup.
Omari texted saying he's on his way. I put the last finishing touches when I hear the doorbell ring. I look at myself in the mirror one last time.

I walked over to the front door and opened it. His face lit up when he saw me with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. "Wow. You look incredible...for you" he says and holds out the flowers towards me. I blush and look away. "You look great" I say and take the flowers from him. He thanks me and we walk to his car. A smile spread across my face as I inhaled the scent of my beautiful flowers. He opens my door and holds my hand as I step in the car. He closes it behind me and walks to his side.
He pulled off and we make small talk throughout the car ride. Then a song comes on. We look at each other because it was "our" song when we were back in school. He turns it up and he starts singing.

We finally pull up to a restaurant. He helps me out the car and we walk inside. We were seated and we were looking at the menus. He stares at me from across the table. I giggle. We laughed and talked the whole night. I felt so comfortable around him. He was my best friend at one point and being around him made my heart happy. He even made me feel hot between my thighs. The next morning My phone rings. "You have a collect call from... Donald Brewster...an inmate at Fullerton Correctional Facility. Do you accept the charges" the automated message said. I sighed and said "yes". "Finally you answer my damn calls" Don says sounding pissed. "Hello to you too Donald" I say. "Put Kai on the phone" he says. "She's at her cousins house" I say. He smacks his lips. "How you doing" I ask. "I'm fine. I wanted to apologize for the other day. I'm letting this shit get to me and I'm taking it out on you. You don't deserve that. I know you love me and just want to help" he says. I start to feel bad about not talking to him and all that Omari shit.
"I know this is tough on you Don. But you can't treat me like that" I say. "I know. I'm sorry ma. Please forgive me. I love you Nicole. You, Kairi, and the baby are my world and is what keeps me going everyday" he says. "I forgive you" I say. "Good. I miss you" he says. "I miss you too babe" I said. "What you been up to" he asks. My eyebrows raise and I get nervous. "Nothing really. Just running up behind Kairi and getting ready for baby boy" I say stuttering a bit.
