Amelia (before the waves started) was kind and caring towards pretty much everyone, and had a good sense of humour that she liked to share. When she got to Camp Haven, she was cold, and refused to become close to anyone in fear of losing them like she lost her family.

Backstory:

Before the Others came to Earth, Amelia was a happy girl, always goofing off with her brothers. She was the only girl in the family (besides her mother) but she loved it. When the 1st wave hit, she and her family learned to adjust to their new lifestyle. Then the 2nd wave hit, and she lost her mother. When the 3rd wave hit, she lost many people that she knew and cared about, including her dad and her younger brother Jamie. After that it was just her and her twin brother Vincent. They left their home after the 3rd wave and made their way to a refugee camp. Before they could get there, however, Vincent's body had somehow started to be taken over by an Other. The two made a promise to each other that if one of them were ever controlled by an Other, the other twin would kill them. So sadly that was what Amelia had to do. She became cold after that, the only thing driving her to keep going being the thought of avenging her family.

She was moved to Squad 53 to help them get better at, well, everything. She eventually developed a crush on Ben AKA Zombie.
