Jasmine POV

"Your father and I are splitting up" she said

"What?" I ask

"Things didn't work out" she said

"Can I stay with you?" I asked softly

"Your father is moving out" she said

What a horrible Wednesday.

Garrett POV

"Jas, what's wrong" I asked Jasmine while she was at her locker

"Nothing" she whispered looking down

I walk away because I decide it's best to leave her alone

I walk into Lindy

"Hey Garrett" she said smiling

"Hey Linds" I say

"Did you notice that something's wrong with Jasmine?" she said

"Yeah. She won't talk to anyone. Not even Logan!" I say

"I think I know someone who can get her to talk" Lindy said smirking

Lindy POV

"Is there anything wrong" Delia said

We had Jasmine lay down on the couch and Delia was pretending to be her therapist

Jasmine gets up and whispers something in Delia's ear

"Jasmine would like it if you three went upstairs" Delia said

Logan, Garrett and I exchange looks and we go upstairs

Jasmine POV

"What's going on Jasmine" Delia said

"My parents are divorcing" I said

My voice cracked a little and I feel like crying

"Oh Jasmine, I'm so sorry" Delia said

"It's not your fault" I say

I feel tears running down my cheek.

I sit up and I grab a tissue that were on the coffee table.

Delia throws away the pen and paper and she gives me a hug

"I just don't understand" I say sobbing into Delia's arms

We break the hug and Delia hands me a tissue

"Do you want me to tell the others or do you want to do it" Delia asks

"You can tell them. I want to go home now." I say then I walk out the door

Delia POV

I go upstairs and I see Lindy, Garrett, and Logan watching tv

They notice me and they all walk up to me

"Did you get her to talk?" Lindy asked

"Yea" I say

"What's wrong" Garrett said

"Jasmine's parents....they're splitting up" I say

They're all speechless.

"Why didn't she tell us in the first place" Lindy asks

"I don't know but when she told me, she started sobbing and crying her eyes out" I say

It was getting late and I should start walking back to my house

"I have to leave. My parents want me home before 7:30" I say

I walk out the door and leave

Garrett POV

"I'm going to take a shower. Lindy can you take Garrett home?" Logan says

"Alright. C'mon Garrett" Lindy said

We walk out the door and we start walking to my house

"I wonder how Jasmine feels" Lindy says

"Yea. I can't imagine seeing my parents divorcing" I say

"I wish I can make things better" Lindy says

"There's nothing we can do" I say

"Is it me or is it hot outside" Lindy said

"It's just you" I say but then I realized what I said

"I mean it's pretty hot here" I say

Lindy laughs and I join her

"It's ok Garrett. We all know I'm hot" she said

This time I laugh and she joins me

"This is my house" I say

"This was a pretty fun walk G" Lindy said

"Yeah. I wouldn't be having this much fun if Logan walked me" I say

"Bye Garrett" she says

"Bye Lindy" I say

All of a sudden I feel lips against mine

It lasted for a few seconds then we break apart.

"I am so sorry! It just happened" she said

"Lindy it's fine" I say "I enjoyed it" I say smiling

"So did I" she says then she returns the smile

Lindy turns around and starts walking back to her house

I enter my house and I lay down on my bed

"Woah"

Sorry for the short chapter but if you ship Lindy and Garrett then you should be smiling right about... NOW
