Godzilla's Depression

Godzilla was silently waiting outside his fathers cave as Kiryu was in there getting a report on Gojira's condition as he had been coughing and wheezing alot he just sighed as he thought about good times with his father

Flashback

Godzilla was only a young thing and he was trying to breath atomic breath for the first time to impress his father when he woke up "Why isn't this working" he said getting extremely frustrated "Now Godzilla you can't get frustrated try something smaller like a fireball" his dad said "Ok dad" he said and he managed to shoot a fireball "DAD I DID IT" he exclaimed "I'm proud of you son" he said "Now let me try and" he said and a full atomic blast came out "DAD I DID IT MY ATOMIC BREATH IS COMPLETE" he exclaimed "I'm proud to call you my son" he said

Flashback end

Godzilla still sat there when Kiryu came out Godzilla standing up immediately "is he going to be alright" he asked "no I'm afraid not his internal nuclear reactor is failing without it he can't keep nuclear energy pumping through his body he only has a few minutes before it fails and he'll be dead instantly" he said Godzilla instantly going inside the cave to say his final goodbyes "ah son just who I wanted to see" he said as the nearly crying Godzilla knelt beside him "don't be sad son everyone has to die sometime and it's now my time and I can't do anything to change that" he said "I know but I'll be lost without your guidance" he said "S-stay strong son" he said "dad" he said "strong" and with that Gojira died "Dad no" Godzilla said completely breaking down

Time Skip

It had been Months since anyone had seen Godzilla and everyone was beginning to get worried not just for Godzilla's safety but the entire planets safety as he was the strongest Kaiju on earth Mothra was especially worried as she really liked Godzilla the Kaiju were trying the think about where Godzilla could have gone when they heard very slow footsteps they all turned to find Godzilla heading towards the ocean "Godzilla there you are where have you been" Kong asked "why do you care where I was" came his extremely sour reply surprising everyone as he replies were usually happy and full of joy but now it was void of emotion "because we were worried about you we haven't seen you I months" Mothra said "Kiryu didn't tell you then" he said turning towards them and when he did all the monsters were in shock at the dull look in his eyes the tear streams on his face "Kiryu didn't tell you my Dad died" he said tears flowing down his face again and his voice breaking "he died how did he die" Mothra asked concerned for his well being "i don't want to say" he responded and with that he started his extremely slow walk away it was so slow that probably a human could run faster "But-" Mothra started only for Godzilla to give a flash of his dorsal plates and a growl

Time Skip

Godzilla's depression had gotten so much worse if anyone even asked if he was alright he would literally send whoever asked flying across the island and today Mothra was on her way to Godzilla's cave to check up on him and she found him sobbing quietly in the corner of the cave "G-Godzilla" she said fear present in her voice "what do you want Moth" he said his voice cold and void of emotion "Godzilla you sound horrible" She said "Why do you care" he snapped while turning to look at her and his face looked so much worse than when she saw him a month ago "cause I was worried every time someone sees you your just repeating the same process going to the ocean getting something going back here and eating and sleeping and you just repeat the same process" She said highly concerned for his well being "hm" is all he responded with "Godzilla the humans they need you your the strongest Kaiju on earth" she said "REALLY THEY NEED ME IF THEY NEEDED ME THEN THEY WOULDN'T TRY AND KILL ME THEY ALREADY HAVE 3 ROBOTS DESIGNED TO KILL ME AND THEY ALREADY KILLED MY FATHER WITH SOME WEAPON CALLED THE OXOGEN DESTROYER AND NOW THEIR EXPECTING ME TO STILL PROTECT THEM THEY CAN GO EXTINCT FOR ALL I CARE" he roared causing Mothra to back up in shock and Godzilla just stood there catching his breath waiting for Mothra's reaction "Godzilla you can't really mean that humans are a part of the natural order" she said staring into his eyes searching for the Godzilla she knows and Loves "WHY WOULD I SAY IT IF I DON'T MEAN IT AND I COULD KEEP BALANCE WITH OR WITHOUT HUMANS SO IF ALL YOU WANT IS TO QUESTION ME THEN LEAVE ME ALONE" he roared driving Mothra out of the cave and slamming a giant boulder in front of the entrance leaving Mothra There jaw dropped (mandible dropped?) at his out burst as she left her heart shattered

Time Skip

later that day Mothra Rodan Battra King Kong and King Ghidorah were all on their way to Godzilla's cave to attempt to cheer him up upon arriving Ghidorah and Kong managed to move the boulder only to discover Godzilla had blasted a hole in the back of his cave into what appears to be a hidden cove with a underwater tunnel to the ocean "aw crap you don't think he went off to destroy cities do you" Ghidorah asked "uh g-guys" Mothra said shakily "what" they all asked in unison "G-Godzilla could die out there" Mothra said fear in her voice causing the others to start panicking "How" Kong quickly asked "the same way his father was killed via the oxygen destroyer" she said "Well then let's go and stop him quickly" Ghidorah said "right" everyone else said in unison

Time Skipper flying by

Everyone had arrived at the site of a massive battle Godzilla surrounded by every weapon humanity had ever built to fight him the mechs's were all damaged sure but Godzilla was hurt a lot more it looked as if a few shots of atomic breath were fired back at him by the super x2 as there were scars all over his chest multiple drill holes from Kiryu' drill and even a giant bleeding scar on the centre of his chest from the absolute zero cannon and some sword slashes on his arms and legs from the mega-zord while every mech aimed all their weapons at Godzilla he already had the spines on his back glowing a hateful red as his atomic pulse was ready to be released meanwhile in the ocean everyone else was just watching "if either side makes a move surely Godzilla will die with all the injuries he already has" Battra said "Well their all gonna shoot at all of us if any of us go over to try and stop Godzilla" Ghidorah said "I'll go try" Mothra said moving forward "you probably have the best reputation amongst the humans so they actually might not shoot at you" Kong said and with that Mothra moved in none of the Mechs nor Godzilla saw her come in until she landed on Godzilla's arm resting her soft head on his shoulder in an adorable way as he just stared at her and then asked "Mothra what do you want" Mothra quickly responded with "for you to come home" Godzilla just glared at all the mechs around him "I'm not going home why do you think I came here" he asked "to let your anger out" she responded quickly "hm that's where your wrong I came here cause I knew that everyone of these Mechs together had the strength to let me see my father again" he said shocking Mothra into silence "b-but you can't" Mothra said still partly struck with shock "my mind is made up and from here all I have to do is aggravate the humans one final time and I'll be doing them a favour" he said the glow of his dorsal fins getting more furious as he prepared to fire and right before he did Mothra shouted something "I LOVE YOU" causing the glow of Godzilla's dorsal fins to disappear entirely and reappear on his face and all the mechs weapons to immediately drop as they stared at her eyes wide and even some open mouths in surprise at what she said while she was blushing as well staring into the eyes she loved "M-Mothra you really mean that" Godzilla asked still partly struck with surprise "yes Godzilla i mean it with all my heart" she said "i love you to" he said smiling for the first time since his father died causing Mothra to let out an excited chirp of joy and wrap her arms around Godzilla's neck clinging to him like her life depended on it while Godzilla wrapped her in a big tight hug and Kiryu signaled the other Mech's to leave and they did leaving the two monsters to head home to monster island
