Horlicks

Can I have some Horlicks, please?
It's a popular bedtime drink.
To run out of it, would be a terrible crime.
I've never tried it myself.
I don't know why.
I just never fancied it.
Maybe someday: I'll give it a try. 

Can I have some Horlicks, please?
They ask this every night.
It must be really good.
I still haven't tried it.
It just slips out of my memory.
Maybe someday: I'll give it a try.

They never have to ask any more.
I've heard it's good for you.
I need to try it.
But then I get too busy.

Can I have some Horlicks, please?
It's meant to have lots of vitamins
And help people sleep.
At some point, I should be free.
