"What are you talking about?" Clarence asked, pulling me closer to him as I stood up.
"They just called, didn't say why—only that Rodrigo wanted to speak with him, and that they were on their way." Andre explained.
Clarence sighed a nodded, "come on."
André and I exchanged worried looks as we followed him upstairs.
The moment we reached the top we instantly heard a hard knock on the front door.
My heart almost immediately sped, I gripped Clarence's arm instinctively causing him to turn around.
"It's ok, I gotchu'—trust me," He said calmly.
André slowly walked over to the door, giving us one last cautionary look before opening it.
"get behind me." Clarence whispered lowly as the multiple security guards came into view.
I did as he said, watching as the men in black took a pierced formation—allowing the devil himself to walk through.
And so he did—menacingly, smoking a cigar with a devious smirk.
The moment he stepped foot in the house, a bone chilling breeze swept through. This man was evil in every sense of the word.
"Jesus, whats with all the long faces?" He chuckled.
He walked over the couch and took a seat on it, slouching comfortably.
His guards walked in, each of them watching me and Clarence closely.
"What do you want man?" Clarence asked flatly.
His smirk dropped and his finger went up, "when I want to speak about what I want—I will, the proverbial dog is in no position to question the owner ." He said darkly...
My mouth fell agape and my eyes widened, I watched as Clarence clenched his fist and jaw simultaneously.
I gently placed a hand on his back, immediately feeling him relax under my touch—hands slowly unclenching.
"Now, if we're done being rude, I simply want to speak with your lover." He said calmly, causing me to swallow nervously.
"no," Clarence responded flatly.
Rodrigos face turned hard as he sighed, clearly becoming agitated with the man in front of me.
I was worried about where the situation was headed, so I spoke up.
