"H-huh?"

"Your daughter, I saw her at the grocery store the day I found you guys. I-I knew she looked familiar but I couldn't figure out why." I said with wide eyes.

I watched as his face turned hard and he clenched his fists, "why didn't you tell me?"

"I-I didn't know, I-I Forgot—"

"Joshua I told you who she was and I showed you this same damn picture in one of our sessions! Stop feeding me that b.s!" He snapped.

His voice was so loud it caused everyone in the gym to look at us.

I looked around in embarrassment before bringing my attention back to him.

"Clare honestly—I didn't know, I only saw the picture BRIEFLY one time, and it's been so long—how could I remember?" I said lowly, trying to keep our conversation from prying ears.

"Nah, Stop fuckin' lying to me, you knew who she was—you knew and you ain't tell me because you thought I'd leave you or some shit," he scoffed.

I jerked my head back and wore a face in confusion, "What!"

"That makes absolutely zero sense!" I retorted, feeling my own anger rise.

"man shut the fuck up, you knew how much she meant to me and you still hid it from me—what type of love is that?" He spat.

I was complete taken back by his words, it was like he had forgotten who I was completely—I don't know if this was another episode due to his unmedicated state, or, if that when it came to his daughter—damn everyone else.

"I'm gonna walk away—only because I can see that you're not gonna stop, and you've made up your mind. I wouldn't do something like that to you and the fact that you would even suggest that pisses me off." I said angrily before starting walking out of the gym.

Before I could even place two steps he gripped my bicep harshly.

I winced which caused him to loosen his grip slightly, but it was still uncomfortably tight.

"I'm not letting you storm out all dramatic and shit, stay your ass in here." He demanded.

"Dramatic!?" I snapped, "you just accused me of some vile shit and me attempting to leave is dramatic!"

"No—what's dramatic is how you handled the situation, sending out petty accusations instead of listening to the person you so call 'love' " I argued, shaking out of his grip.

His gaze was still harsh as he smacked his lips and walked off, muttering a low, "fuck it."

I looked at his back in complete disbelief, I knew he had bipolar disorder on top of other things, but his mood swings—especially this one, were starting to affect me.

Javier eyed us intently before quickly going back to air boxing as Clarence walked over.

I shook my head and walked out of the gym—making my way back to the hotel, alone.
