1. For a DIYUE fan reader who will read your works for the very first time, which amongst your stories will you suggest that they read first?

2. Why?
While I'm likely better known for my first-ever written fanfic, Hoodie, "Dear Shancai" best conveys what I'd like my audience to think and feel about Shancai. "Dear Shancai" isn't an actual story per se, but rather, it's an ode to her/ to the portrayal of her character by Shen Yue. I wrote it from a psychological/emotional-development perspective, taking into account factors that have likely influenced and shaped her and how she goes about in the world. I happen to love Shancai and my thought has always been that she had the biggest and most frequent obstacles to overcome, and more importantly, she also received the least amount of tolerance from most MG-lovers, while getting a lot of sighs and exasperation that she wasn't dropping the L-bomb (love) more quickly, once DMS was ready to hear it. Once Ah Si's character redeemed himself/started to rein in his aggressive, ill-thought out behavior, folks just jumped on the DMS train and it was full steam ahead. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE, love, love Ah Si, and his actions and growth are spectacular. I just happen to love Shancai too, and often in my stories, you'll see me write from her perspective, and frequently portray her as more vocal, sassy, and bold in my stories. One of my hopes in writing and sharing my fanfics is that the audience will consider some of her thoughts and fall in love with her, or more in love with her, too.
