Lincoln knows this is especially not going to be easy as Luna was especially close to him always following him almost everywhere you can only imagine how devastated she was when he left

Luna: MAYBE THEN WE WOULD HAVE FOUND OUT WHY YOU HATED US AND WE COULD HAVE CHANGED THAT AND YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LEFT
Lincoln: I don't hate you Luna I could never hate any of you the reason I left is complicated and the best I can tell you is I saw something I shouldn't have and I was so scared that I thought the best option was running away to keep you guys safe

Lincoln: yeah Dad it's me it's been a while hasn't it I'm guessing that one next to you is Lynn

Lynn: STOP BLOCKING YOU KNOW GOOD JERK YOU HAVE SOME NERVE COMING BACK AFTER YOU LEFT DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW I FELT I WAS SO LITTLE BACK THEN AND YOU JUST UP AND DISAPPEARED
Lynn is still trying to hit him with tears in her eyes her face was a mix of angry and sad
Lincoln grabs uer next punch and brings her into a hug she tries to get out of his embrace with all her mine but the much stronger loud it's too strong for her to resist and slowly she starts to give in
Lynn: WHY DID YOU LEAVE WHY DID YOU LEAVE US WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME WHERE WE THAT BAD OF SISTERS THAT YOU COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE AND LEFT
Lincoln heart could barely took it but he had mentally prepared himself weeks for this event he knew that his sister's we're going to be full of rage and anger for him leaving but not this much it took every ounce of strength I had not to cry
Lincoln: I left to protect you guys I can't explain it because it will just sound like an excuse but I can tell you this there hasn't been a day gone by that I have not thought of you guys those years on a street the thought of you guys being safe and sound was the only thing that kept me going
