My dad stood covered head to toe in snow, smiling ear to ear at me. My eyes filled with anger, the man who left us for another woman just pops up out of nowhere.
"Leave now." I growled.
"Kira, I~"
"Are you def? I said leave! NOW!" Tears of frustration grew in my eyes as I quickly wiped them away.
"Kira, are you okay?" Ukyo asked me.
"I'm fine." I growled.
"Kira... Can I please explain." My dad pleaded. I noticed Ukyo's worried expression and I hissed,
"Explain what? How you disappeared for 13 years?" He had a troubled expression and I looked at Ukyo for help.
"Kira, I advise you to let him explain." He said. I sighed and turned towards my dad.
"Fine." My voice was choked up, as I held tears back.
🎄🎄🎄
Ukyo sat us down and made us each a cup of tea, my dad sipped it quietly as I crossed my arms. Everyone had gone to bed, so it was us two when Ukyo left.
"Why'd you do it?" I asked. He set the cup down and thought about it as if he were trying to word it correctly.
"Your mother and I were newly weds, with 2 young girls and tons of debt." He explained. "That doesn't explain anything." I rose my voice. He sat there silently and stared at me, his eyes were a sparkling dark blue that seemed to go on forever.
"I'm ashamed of what I did," he sighed "It was cowardly, and a dumb mistake. In an attempt to drink away my pain, I met a lady... one thing led to another and I slept with her." I felt a sharp pain in my heart, "I never meant for anyone to get hurt, I just wanted to hide away. Away from it all, and I've regretted it everyday since then." He said. Tears were beginning to fall down his face as I hissed,
"Mom blamed me. She said it was my fault you left, and that I was the cause for her depression and stress." I felt tears stream down my face as I said
"13 years I waited. 13 f*cking years. All I had was the hope that maybe one day, I would have parents who loved me like the kids in my class. Now I know I never had a chance." I clutched onto my locket and stared at the floor.
"Kira... I meant to come back. I just wanted the best for you and Aimi." He explained.
"I think it's time for you to leave." I said, I stood up and tried to walk away. But, a force stopped me. My dad gripped my wrist and lightly pulled me into a hug.
"Please Kiri Bear." He pleaded.
"You have no right to call me that anymore." I hissed trying to push away, he hugged me tighter and rubbed my back.I finally bawled into my dads shoulder and hugged my dad back. He kissed my forehead and whispered,
"I know you don't think you can ever forgive me... but can you at least find it in your heart to try?" I stopped crying and hissed "Give me time." He nodded and handed me a slip of paper, "Text me and we can talk over coffee." He kissed my forehead again, and patted my head. I watched him exit the house and I collapsed on the couch in frustration. Tears were still streaming down my face, as I quickly fell asleep. But, just before I fell asleep... I felt a warm body lay next to me, and a blanket wrap around me. I opened my eyes a bit to see Fuuto.
"Fuuto-"
"Shhh." He interrupted. His voice was harsh, and in the moonlight I could see himself blushing. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer.

I immediately stopped crying and whispered "Thank you

I immediately stopped crying and whispered
"Thank you." He just jumped a little and hissed back,
"You're welcome Kiri Bear."
I couldn't help but laugh. I could see a smile form on his face, he continued to rub my back until I fell asleep.
🙂🙃🙂
I woke up, back in my room. I pulled myself up, and noticed the clock.
7:34, December 25th
I couldn't help but grin. Christmas was always my favorite holiday, even when the times got bad... I would always listen to crappy songs and open presents. I pulled on my robe and went downstairs.
As I was walking, I walked past Fuuto's room, his door was open. He wasn't there, but I was able to spot a small object sitting on his desk. I immediately recognized it and grinned, it was a small teddy bear with a microphone in his hands.
So he did like it.
I chuckled and continued to walk when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned and was confronted face to face with a shirtless Subaru. My face flushed and I spun back around
"I'M SO SORRY." I spat out. I ran to the staircase when Subaru yelled back,
"Wait! Kira right?!" I kept my eyes adverted and said
"Yeah?..."
"I have a shirt on." He said. I slowly turned around and sighed a sigh of relief when I saw his Meiji shirt.
He smiled warmly, "Sorry about that. I figured everyone was asleep." "No no, it was my fault." I chuckled awkwardly. I smiled and said "Merry Christmas" before leaving down the stairs. A smile tugged at his lips as he blushed "Merry Christmas." The day was wonderful, it was filled with Christmas movies and presents galore. Ukyo made a grand feast and we all became stuffed with food by the end of the night. As the day grew to an end, I spotted a mistletoe hanging from the Christmas tree. I smiled as Ema stood beneath it drinking her punch innocently. I walked over to her and talked (Far enough so no one could mistake me for being underneath the mistletoe). She smiled and drank her punch as I spotted Yusuke in the crowd. I motioned for him to come over and he declined. My legs sped through the crowd and I pulled Yusuke out, to my surprise he walked towards Ema with total confidence. He himself, didn't realize the mistletoe above him. I laughed and pointed above him,
"Look up." I snickered. He glanced up and froze. Ema did the same, and immediately backed away.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to give you the wrong idea!" She laughed nervously.
"It's fine." He laughed awkwardly. She made her way towards everyone else as Yusuke sighed and followed her.
"Attention!" Kanames voice boomed, "I believe it's time for dessert!" We all grinned and while everyone made their way for the kitchen, I stood admiring the beautiful tree before me.
Fuuto's POV
Everyone was making their way to the kitchen, everyone except her. She stood there admiring the tree while the light from the tree reflected in her eyes. I felt a smile tug at my lips as I made my way towards her. I gently grabbed her hand, she spun around and her eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you want?" Kira growled. Her eyes relaxed once she saw my smile, her complexion in the light was absolutely stunning. I pushed a few strands of stray hair out of her face and said,
"You know, the rule is..." she stopped me before I could say anything. She moved to the side and said,
"There, I'm not under the mistletoe. Now come on, it's time for dessert." I'm not one to use mushy words, or mushy gestures but I grabbed the mistletoe and moved it to where we both were under it.
"What are you doing?" Kira asked. Her eyes were filled with curiosity, and I pulled her closer.
Kira's POV
Fuuto pulled me closer, and planted his lips on mine. The kiss was long, as he gently pulled away. I felt my face burn red, he walked away but turned and winked,
"Merry Christmas, Kiri bear."
My face burned brighter and for once, after Fuuto kissed me I felt a smile tug at my lips. I smiled, and laughed to myself.
"Merry Christmas..." I whispered tying the mistletoe back up, I then turned and joined everyone for dessert.

A/N: Sorry for the long Christmas special! It just kept on going and I decided to run with it! We'll return back to normal in chapter 11!
