The dark haired girl

Shh it's alright the dark haired girl whispers

You'll fit soon enough no matter how twisted

You'll work hard don't worry

The pain will be worth it

You'll live through the tears

And the glares and the whispers

And when you make it,

 At last, it will end

They won't talk anymore

For your skinny at last

Your hips on display

Your wrists so perfect

Your ribs out just right

Not too fat almost perfect.

Just go a little farther,

Just take one more step,

Trust me it'll be worth it

The dark haired girl whispers

As I look in the mirror

Pinching the flab while looking through tears.

I whisper right back

I know and I'll do it

Just give me some time or mom will find out

And you walk to the scale and glare at the weight

'Come on!' the girl whispers 'Just take on more step!'

You follow her steps

You're in a white bed, too weak to function

The dark haired girl whispers

'I did that on purpose'
