So today I'll be showing you how to use .asl text styles in an editing website called www.photopea.com . I will be using a laptop but you can also use you phone on landscape, though it is very  difficult and I do suggest otherwise.

STEP ONE. Download your style. There are a lot of them available on deviantart.com, but you obviously must adhere to any rules they put in place.

STEP TWO. Open photopea. Click on Open From Computer, and open your style. At the top of your screen, you will see "style added" and "pattern added".  This means that your style has now been loaded in to photopea.

STEP THREE. Open your graphic base from the "Open From Computer" option.

I didn't do this in the screenshot, but make sure you have already typed your text using The Text tool. Make sure this tutorial is done on your text layer!

At the top tabs, one says "Layer", drag it down, select "Layer Styles", and across from that, "Blending Options".

STEP FOUR. Click the square on the side of the box, and the arrow facing downwards. Your text style should be there. I am using the style "Minotaur" by eosophobias but you can do this with any .asl layer style file!

Select your style, and click OK

Select your style, and click OK.  For future reference, if you want to make your own style, click "Define New" to save the style to photopea on your computer. Next time you use styles, your creation will be there!

I hope you found this useful, and thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
