Alec and Magnus walked to the car side-by-side, still feeling that inexplicable pull between them as they did so. As they made it to the black town car, Magnus grabbed onto the handle and waved Alec inside, holding the door open for him as he entered. "Ah!", said Steven who was sitting in the driver's seat, starting the engine. "I see you managed to convince him", he finished, pulling away from Alec's curb and out into the street. "Well...", Magnus began, giving Alec a side-eye. "I can be very convincing". Alec laughed and shook his head thinking how ridiculous and hilarious Magnus was. As much as Alec tried to fight it, it was clear that Magnus gave off this intoxicating energy that he was drawn to. It was as though he could live vicariously through the man and have a chance to be everything that he was not. "Why are the windows tinted so much?", Alec asked suddenly, noticing how he could barley see out of them. Alec looked back at Magnus as he spoke and noticed how his excited expression faltered slightly. "Well", Magnus began, putting on a smile. "When you're a beloved as I am, it can be hard going out paces, so its just better that I'm not seen all the time", Magnus replied, reaching into a compartment in between them and pulling out a large bottle of whiskey. "Let's get started, shall we?", Magnus exclaimed, sharing the bottle with Alec as they made their way into downtown LA. Alec had a few shots with Magnus, but decided to stop when Magnus wanted to go for his third. That man could really put them down. Eventually Steven turned a corner and to Alec's surprise, they were entering LAX, otherwise known as Los Angeles international airport. "Um! Magnus! What are we doing at an airport?!", asked Alec, now extremely sacred about what was about to happen. "We're going to a party! I told you that!", Magnus said just before taking another shot, his fifth one of the night. "Ok yeah I got that. But WHERE is this party?!", Alec asked, his panic rising as they pulled up to a terminal. "Oh relax, Lightwood", Magnus replied with a chuckle. "It's just in Malibu. I have a private jet I like to use sometimes when I don't feel like driving for a few hours", Magnus said it like it was no big deal. "If we take the jet we'll get there in 30 minutes instead of 2 and a half hours", Magnus finished as the car stopped. "Ok Mr. Bane, Mr. Lightwood. This is where I drop you off. Have a pleasant evening". "Thanks Steven", Magnus replied, earning a hat tip from the driver. "Come on hottie", Magnus said, looking back at Alec who was frozen in his seat, still in awe about what was happening. "Oh. Right", Alec replied, shaking his head and coming to his senses as he followed Magnus out of the town car. Alec followed the man along a short pathway that led directly into an underground garage where a whole host of security personnel were awaiting their arrival. "Hello Mr. Bane. It's so good to have you back with us again", began a beautiful woman who looked as though she had just come off the runways of New York fashion week. "And welcome to you Mr. Lightwood", the woman said as she turned to Alec with a smile. Alec was used to being surprised at this point so he just smiled back, feeling many things at once. "It's always a pleasure Angelia", Magnus replied with a coy smile. "If you gentlemen will follow me, I have the location of your jet Mr. Bane. The two men walked next to each other once more as they followed Angelia up and out of the garage and into the airport, twisting through hallways as to not be seen by the general public of the airport. "They seem to know you here", Alec commented, surprised at how many people greeted Magnus along the way. "You could say I'm a frequent flyer", Magnus replied, nudging Alec in his arm playfully. Alec laughed in response, feeling a type of exhilaration course through him as Magnus made contact with his body once more. Alec knew this wasn't good. He couldn't be growing feelings for Magnus Bane.

Alec had learned from the past that unrequited love is never worth pining over. After what felt like an hour of walking, Magnus and Alec, along with their airport posse, finally made it to the door, which would take them out onto the tarmac. "Have an excellent flight gentlemen", Angelia said as she opened the door and waved the two men outside. As the cool wind hit Alec's face, he could see a large jet sitting on the tarmac in the distance. His mouth fell open and he froze in his tracks, causing Magnus to laugh loudly and pull him along by his arm, breaking Alec out of his shock as he focused on the touch once again. As they approached the plane, another airport staff was standing at the bottom of the steps that led to the open aircraft door. "Hello again Mr. Bane!", said the chipper man. "Welcome!". "Thank you Richard!", Magnus said with a smile, leading Alec up the steps. "So!", Magnus yelled back at Alec as they ascended the stairs. "My friends are already all here, so you'll be able to meet them all tonight! I'm really exited for them to get to know you!", Magnus said, turning his head to briefly flash a smile back at Alec. Magnus was exited for his friends to meet him? How was that possible? What was so special about him? The pair finally reached the door and climbed through the opening, immediately being greeted by a whole group of people. "Ehhhhh!", everyone yelled as Magnus entered, all getting up to give him hugs and exchange hi-fives. "Everybody!", Magnus finally yelled, getting the whole group's attention. "This is my new friend Alec! Alec", Magnus began, pointing to each person as he went along. "This is Catarina, Ragnor, Maia, Simon, Luke, Camille, Raphael, and Lorenzo!". Alec tried to remember all the names as he went down the line. "Hi!", he replied, slightly overwhelmed, but very exited to meet everyone nonetheless. Everyone greeted Alec in unison, making him feel very welcome. As Alec and Magnus took a seat with his friends, the doors were closed and the plane began to move. Magnus looked over at Alec and asked, "Are you ready?". TBC...
