The Kanima

for the people who noticed. yes, I am well aware of the fact that the show 'Teen Wolf' has this creature in the second season.

The Kanima

these are very interesting creatures since there is both normal and supernatural variation. they act similar but the supernatural version but only the supernatural kanima can turn into a human-like form. it has a very interesting set of scales. which form a full-body thin but tough shield. but these scales are very interesting on their own as well and with the muscles under the skin, this creature is capable of moving certain parts of it,
the kanima has 3 different ways it can give birth, the natural or "normal" kanima can lay eggs, and it does this by moving the scales revealing the Orpheus where the egg comes out, this can only be done when stationary because movement triggers the muscles which then retract those scales back into place, shielding the Oraphues from any damage, this also happens when the body "disposes of the waste". the other way works for both natural and supernatural version, is giving birth to live babies. and yes, female kanima (both versions) have nipples, but those are also shielded and can be covered and un-covered using that same muscle-under-the-skin technique as with the uncovering while laying eggs or taking a sh*t. and supernatural kanimas is also able to give birth in human form, also to live young. they are also able to extend out the scales on the hands and feet a tiny bit, creating hook-like structures which help them get grip on nearly any service, they can even climb glass if they can use that ridge to damage the glass If there's anything the barbs can hook on to or stab into they can climb it. they also have venom which gets injected through the claws and the bite. the bigger the wound the more venom gets injected, and if enough venom gets injected into the body (which is different for each species) the target gets completely paralyzed, only leaving the lungs, heart, and everything above the neck working. everything else is completely paralyzed and unable to move, leaving it an easy target

the core kanima

this one is another very strong one, and like the others is the last of its kind left alive. it has an ability called "razor skin" which covers its entire body with tiny spikes. along with an ability called "screech" which gives a splitting headache to anything in range. that range is 50-100 meters. It can shrink to 1 meter in size and grow up to 200 meters In hight on its back legs. and along with that it has the abilities of a normal kanima and covered in dermaglyphes
