Loss of life, loss of meaning

If my heartbeat slow,
would you still want me?
If my head said no,
Would you still stay?
If my eyes stayed downcast,
Away from your gaze
Would you question my feelings or ignore me all the same?
If a smile no longer lighted my face.
If all I thought was that I'm a disgrace.
If I cried and screamed that I'm not worth the chase,
would you give up on me or would you stay?
