Cars speeding around the track
They prowl
Behind others and don't dare to turn back
Racers grip their wheels tightly
Then ram their feet into the gas pedal
Never too lightly
Hoping to win that medal
The wheels shine in the sun's brilliant rays
Screeching as they start dashing
Leaving marks wherever they graze
Trying to keep up as they keep crashing
People scream out
Encouraging everyone to go faster
As sweat runs down each drivers face about
To imagine totally disaster
As racers race and the crowd roars
We realize life is just like this
Failing and succeeding to resist
Crashing and winning the highest scores
